I will be in Nassau next March and in my early research, I see that Resort for a Day as a day pass for Marley Resort and Spa in Cable Beach.
I'm a HUGE Bob Marley fan and was wondering if anyone has been here before as a cruise passenger.
Thanks!

Thanks for sharing! I have a promenade cabin on the Explorer next year and I'm really looking forward to it.

Since I travel solo, I can only afford an inside and I enjoy it. I had a balcony on my Allure cruise and it was great, but I was sharing the cost with a friend.
That's why I'm really excited about the Quantum and the studio balconies; I can see that becoming my ship of choice just for that reason.
Until then, I'll enjoy my insides and lower costs.

Interesting. Thanks for sharing. I might give this a go since I doubt hubby would ever cruise RCCL.
Does anyone know if you can do My Time dining as a solo and be able to be seated by yourself? Or is that only possible at the buffet?
I don't see why not. They'd probably just put you at a two seater.

Thanks for the information on the departure tours! I have one booked with Royal but I think I will cancel it and do it then since its cheaper.
Also, since this is such a port intensive itinerary, I'm debating if I should even bother with the MDR. I have the 6 o'clock dining time but I like to catch sail away and don't want to go to dinner late every day. Did you notice anyone doing the same thing?
Great review once again!

This is a great review and has me extremely excited for my sailing this fall.
I plan on doing a review when I return as well.

I just came through to read this review again as I'm doing some shore excursion planning for my cruise.
Once again, great review! I'm still contemplating moving my hotel stay to Da House strictly for the club, but when I saw how far my current hotel is, it's only about a 5 minute walk, so it will guarantee I get some sleep at night.
Also, when I went on my Enchantment cruise last month, while I was in Orlando, I stopped in Ross and went maxi dress crazy! LOL I probably have two for every day and most likely will bring them all. Were you close to the Marshall in SJ? I'd like to stop there as well, see if I find anything special.
I've decided to do a solo review when I return as well. I'm looking forward to it and hoping my outfits are as great as yours!

Hello!
My name is Deon and it's been great to see everyone's progress so far, especially yours Kim. Keep it up!
I'm cruising in September and would love to lose at least 20lbs by then and then an additional 40lbs by the time my next cruise rolls around in March. I've tried so many different things and I'm finally getting steady in the gym now. I'll be attending a boot camp every Wednesday for the next 8 weeks, so I'm looking forward to that.
I have a dress I want to wear for formal night and the last time I tried it on, I looked pregnant, which is not how I want to look until I'm pregnant. That's my target piece for the next 3 months.
We can do it! I did an hour of cardio today and I'll be back at the gym tomorrow.

36yo SWM sailing out of San Juan on October 5th 2013 - Jewel of the Seas.
I'm on the Sept 21st sailing. Looking forward to it!

I booked a studio balcony on the April 24th sailing as well; after my balcony discount, it's $1500 but it actually shows cheaper in My Cruises, so I'll go with that! LOL Can't wait to try it out. I also booked one of the cabins that has the slightly bigger balcony. I was pleased with the pricing as the insides for that same sailing starts at $1800 before taxes. A lot of the inside studios sold out quickly.

Thanks! They emailed me back today and I'm confirmed! Can't wait to relax there.
-
Thanks for this info! I've just sent them an email hoping I can book it for my upcoming sailing.
Do you pay in advance or when you get there? Thanks!
-
Thanks for the pictures; they were great and made me extremely excited for my upcoming sailing.
-
I'd love to see the cruise compasses as well for the Barbados route; I can't wait for this sailing!
-
Thanks for this review! I'm traveling solo on the Jewel in September and seeing these pictures have made me extremely excited! Will definitely be following along.
-
Looking forward to following this thread! Sounds like an amazing itinerary.

143 days and I'm actually excited for the time I have in between since I just got off the Enchantment yesterday.
-
This sounds interesting. How would you find out about charter cruises?
Can I also get the compasses emailed to dsunny3 at excite dot com. Thanks.
-
What is an NCC? Is that the future cruise thing?
Yes, it's a next cruise certificate. It procivides a reduce deposit for $100 and an onboard credit.
-
:)That is deck 5. Only giving the promenade 1 hour? Have a wonderful cruise.
Thanks! With such a port intensive sailing, I don't suspect I'll have much more time than that.
-
I'm beyond excited about the solo cabins with the balconies; I've been trying to get back to a balcony ever since I had one on the Allure.
I'll be buying two NCC's on my upcoming sailing and plan to use one to book the Quantum for Feb 2015 as soon as bookings open up.

Thanks for the ship pictures! I'm extremely excited to get on there in September.
I was thinking about the drink package for my sailing as well, but it's just under $400; seeing as how I can bring two bottles of wine with me, I definitely won't be purchasing it. Since it's a port intensive sailing and I will hardly be on the ship, I can only see myself getting about 2-3 drinks a day on top of my glass of wine before dinner.
How was the outdoor Windjammer seating area during your sailing? I plan to spend each sailaway there.
-
Great review, solo cruising is soooo much fun!
I second that! :D
-
Thank you for that last picture! Those are my favourite decks on the ship, with a drink and a book in hand, just sailing away. September can't get here fast enough!!
Exactly what deck is that? I plan to spend an hour there every evening.

I just emailed them to find out this information - of course I should've checked here first!
They include quite a lot for $65; thanks for sharing the information.
