  1. I know the best deals for solo travelers seem to be inside cabins. I can't imagine not having a window if not a balcony. How do people cope?

I usually find a quiet outside spot on the 1st night and spend a LOT of time there if I want to do some water watching. I'm usually good at finding the right spot too; It's usually only me and maybe 2 or 3 other people who are quiet as well.

  2. I'm booked on the Explorer for late January and I'm extremely excited!!

One question .. I'll be going as a solo traveler and my stops include Labadee, St Thomas, St Maaren and San Juan. Can anyone recommend any excursions that I wouldn't mind doing solo? I was thinking of walking around each city but I don't think that would be the best idea.

Plus, I also have 5 sea days and I'm wondering how many activities they have to fill up the days.

    Thanks!

  3. Found a great deal and I put a deposit on it just until I can confirm my vacation time.

10 Night Eastern Caribbean Cruise leaving from New Jersey for under $1,000, with taxes in.

It only has 4 stops and 5 sea days, but this trip is mainly for relaxation, so I'm just fine with that.

With it leaving from New York, the flight will be cheaper, or I can even go dirt cheap and take the Greyhound overnight! This is exactly the kind of deal I was looking for, so I'm ecstatic. Now, as long as my vacation pans out, I can properly start planning.

  4. I'm possibly looking to change my February cruise if I can find something cheaper, so can someone help me out please?

Right now, the Feb cruise is leaving from Fort Lauderdale for 6 nights on the Navigator of the Seas.

I'm from Toronto, so I'd actually prefer something leaving from New Jersey or Baltimore, as I can take the Greyhound there for much cheaper and something longer than 5 nights.

If anybody sees a deal, please let me know!! Right now, I paid $1,000, but I'd like to bump that much lower and I don't mind switching lines, but only to Carnival.

  5. This thread has me itching for my cruise in February to come quickly!! I'm so glad I decided to upgrade to a balcony; it was a little steep, but will be well worth it as I'm looking to sleep out there one night and will be doing a lot of reading and drinking as well ... I really can't wait!!
