  1. The #10 bus is much cheaper than a taxi. $1.25 a person (plus tip). Just tell the driver you want Baha Mar.
  2. Loved it! This was my review: https://susancrow.blogspot.com/2018/11/bites-of-nassau-experiencing-bahamas.html
  3. Thanks! I didn't think they would be listed on the app. I'm surprised there are only two of them.
  4. Does anyone have a list of the Freestyle soda machine locations on Allure of the Seas?
  5. I was wondering if you were actually taste-testing all these recipes. πŸ˜€ I appreciate all your effort in compiling the official recipes and ingredients!
  6. Does the non-smoking casino on Allure of the Seas have table games or just slots? Blackjack?
  7. Thank you! Every little bit helps. πŸ™‚
  8. Do they sell buckets of beer? If so, what bars have them? We'll be on Allure and we won't have the drink package.
  9. This is almost exactly the way I make my mojitos. I'll have to try one onboard Allure.
  10. I'm confused about the Crown and Anchor benefits. When it says 10% off any glass of wine, beer or soda, does that mean any ONE glass? Or ANY glass? Same question with the discount on the coffee drinks. Do they still put the discounts on your card and you have to let them know when you want to use them?
  11. No, I made a photo book out of some of my sisters' and my favorite drink recipes. Most of them are from our trips and travels so there are a couple from cruises. Here's a link, if you'd like to see it. One of my sisters likes to watercolor so I used her paintings instead of photographs. https://www.shutterfly.com/share-product/?shareid=68b6f2ef-56bb-4222-9024-feac6608642f&cid=SHARPRDWEBMPRLNK You should definitely make a photobook of your recipes! It would make such a fantastic souvenir or gift. You could use pictures from your cruises too, not just pictures of the drinks.
  12. Tremendous job! I'm saving this post for future reference. I made a photo book with my sisters' and my favorite drink recipes. I used Shutterfly and it came out really well. I had fun experimenting with the recipes too but it got pricey. πŸ˜„ My book included Royal Caribbean's Lavender Daiquiri. I couldn't get the Monin syrup so I ended up making my own lavender simple syrup with food-grade lavender flowers that I ordered from Amazon. I will try your version and see how it compares to the copy-cat version I found online.
  13. I wish we could but my husband doesn't have much time off so we have to take advantage of the bonus days when we can.
  14. Enjoyed your party reviews. We never made it to any of the parties because we were either asleep or in the casino. It's the great thing about cruising - you can be on the same cruise and do totally different things. There's something for everyone.
  15. I thought the reviews about the mirrors were an exaggeration until I walked around a corner and almost walked smack into one. πŸ˜„
  16. Really? My husband and I were actually surprised how many kids there were. It seemed like there was a lot of them to do though, so they weren't sitting at the bars ordering soda. πŸ™‚ Younger kids, not many teenagers. I'll check out your party reviews.
  17. The bars could be busy but we didn't see anyone being loud and obnoxious. There were more international people than you'd see on Carnival. The main problem with a 3-day isn't the partying. It's that it's such a big ship that you haven't even learned your way around by the time it's time to get off. πŸ™‚
  18. We were on the August 31 3-day cruise to Ocean Cay. I just finished posting my review with lots of pictures. Here is the link: https://susancrow.blogspot.com/2023/09/msc-seaside-getaway-to-ocean-cay.html My favorite parts of the cruise - having almost two full days at Ocean Cay, the jet ski tour, the Michael Jackson show, the Bridge of Sighs, the atrium and sports bars. Ocean Cay is beautiful and I hope we can get back there again soon. The service at dinner was minimal but pretty standard for a weekend cruise. Breakfast was great. Dinner was just ok but better than it was on our Divina cruise. I was very happy that we were able to get My Choice Dining. The Easy Plus drink package was included with our booking. It was plenty for us. I ordered a couple of drinks that were over the $10 limit but was only charged the difference in price. Loved having a balcony cabin but there wasn't much storage, especially in the bathroom. Our room steward Ronnell did a great job. I'll be glad to answer questions, if I can.
  19. Sorry, I don't have the menus but I'm glad Essiesmom was able to help. I hope to have my review finally done this weekend!
  20. Sorry, I had the security settings wrong for the document! You should be able to access the schedules now. Let me know if you still aren't able.
  21. I posted the daily schedules for our August 31 3-day cruise to Ocean Cay here: https://susancrow.blogspot.com/p/blog-page.html Hopefully I can get a review written up soon too. It was a great weekend, especially having so much time at Ocean Cay.
