Good Morning, today is Eastport. My phone thinks we are in Canada and my phone switched to Atlantic time zone. Departing the ship was delayed about 45 minutes. With all aboard at 1:30 that's a lot of port time lost. Today's program.

Sunday was Portland day. The weather was beautiful and we just walked around the town. There were some inexpensive options for tours once off the ship. While in Port there was no live TV. We both had lunch at the taco bar next to the Dive In. I miss this on the larger ships. Dinner was in lido and the line was long but yhe food was good. Last night was the Captains toast and the auditorium was about half full. We watched the One Step Dancers, In Tandem. The dancers are good at their craft but I was unimpressed with the show overall. The one dancer sang "Hero" and that performance was not good. Others might enjoy the show. With the recently updated TV system we watched the latest Black Panther movie. DH would have preferred a larger TV screen.

Good Morning from Eastport, Maine. It's sunny and 47F. My phone thinks I'm in Canada so ship wifi is better, at least for now. No plans for here other than walking around. Last night someone was trapped in an elevator. I got the beverage manager that was around the corner and he got help. I hope everyone has a good day today. Big tidal changes here.

I’ve been told that there are only 15 5* Mariners on this cruise. I’m sure you’ll get invited in July.

There is usually a Mariner reception on embarkation day. The number of stars invited depends on the number of 4 and 5 onboard.

Good Morning from Portland, thanks for today's report. When I woke up at 5 it looked nasty outside. Now that we are docked it's nice and sunny, although too cool for DH. We dont have anything planned so will walk around after 10 when the stores will open. I like today's meal suggestion. I finally remembered to book Pinnacle Grill for lunch. I hope everyone has a good day today.

Good Afternoon, the Coast Guard didn't show for the inspection this morning. We were through security rather quickly and in our rooms by 11:40. We had lunch in the lido since the dining room was opening at 1. The cows are getting wet this afternoon The OV cabin on deck 3.

We are onboard. The Coast Guard didn't show this morning.

Our check in time is 12:40. We are already through security and waiting to board I have no idea on how to check internet speed.

The kids made sure my clothes had fur on them. So I guess that's helping? 😀

Good Morning Everyone, thanks for today’s daily fleet report. Today’s the day! Looking forward to boarding the Zaandam today. Overnight I received an email from HAL that the Zaandam has a mandatory US Coast Guard inspection and that boarding times are delayed an hour, unfortunately we can’t change our arrival time this late. It probably means that the MDR will not be open for lunch today. DH received an email from HAL telling him to use Verifly, that’s not happening. We will just go with the flow once we get there. I hope everyone has a nice day today.

It really has been a quiet work day. I found some new flowers. Tucker has been very clingy today.

I can let you know after next week. I started a live thread for tomorrow's itinerary.

Good Morning Everyone, thanks for the daily fleet report. It’s another beautiful day in New England. There are two concerts tonight, Taylor Swift and Janet Jackson, it’s a good day to stay home. The bags are packed and we are ready to board the Zaandam tomorrow. Today’s work schedule is light, no meetings on the calendar. Hopefully that means I can get a load of laundry done and a quick pass through the house to make sure everything is good for the pet sitter. I hope everyone has a good day today.

We booked this cruise while on the NA last November during the Black Friday sale and got a great deal on an Ocean View cabin. It helps that we live close to Boston and don't need air or hotels. We were on board the Zaandam last summer for two weeks and look forward to returning for a week this month. We are trying an OV to see how it works out for retirement cruises. I also listened to another CC member and bought a device that will turn the one outlet into two outlets with a few USB ports. My only disappointment at this point was that Saint John was replaced with Eastport, Maine. We haven't been to Eastport so will make the best of our time while we are there. Our bags are packed, pet sitter and ride service reconfirmed so we are all set to board tomorrow. Our check in time is 12:40 but will be getting there closer to 11 since the travel plans were scheduled a few months ago. If anyone else on board this cruise wants to share their experiences please feel free to join the discussion.

Good Morning Everyone, thanks for today’s daily fleet report. It’s another nice day here although rather chilly, the downstairs heat kicked in, on the plus side it looks like the frost missed us. @dfish thanks for pictures and recipes, they look tempting. This morning I paid the bills that will be coming due during our trip. Yesterday the pet sitter and ride service both confirmed. Now to add an umbrella and light coat to my suitcase. I hope everyone has a good day today.

Good Afternoon, thanks for today’s daily fleet report. I tried posting earlier but kept getting an error. I had a morning full of meetings that lasted until 1:30. Now it’s quiet for the moment. It’s a beautiful day here, although a bit cooler and possible frost overnight. DH is the pack rat in the family. I’ve been trying to clean out things that are no longer needed. He tries to fill those spots with Lego. Haven't decided what’s for dinner yet. I better figure it out soon. @1ANGELCAT I’m glad to hear that Fluff is comfortable today. I wore purple to work today, it's my favorite color to wear. @1ANGELCAT I'm sorry to hear about Fluffs diagnosis but I know you'll take good care of her. Its not easy when one of the kids are sick. I hope everyone has a nice evening.

I’m so sorry to hear this news. Let’s hope the treatment plan works. We are never ready to say goodbye.
