  1. Getting onboard early is not that important to us but FTTF is worth it for us because:

No dragging around luggage once onboard

No waiting in line at service desks once on board

    Priority tendering

Priority debark which is particularly important when trying to get from florida to canada east coast on early flights

  2. Yes. You can walk. There is a path to follow that goes all around the Harbour (called Harbour Passage). It is probably a mile in total length. There are also buses, cabs and cruise specific buses.

As for whether it is worth it , that depends on timing. It is certainly impressive to see the river reverse but that only happens as the tide is coming in and is more impressive during higher tides.

Saint John does not have a big downtown area so it is pretty easy to get around.

  3. Sorry about that.....you will definitely see colour . There will be lots of yellows still but some of the more vibrant bright reds and oranges will no longer be present and some of the trees, especially if we have strong wind and rain, may be bare.

It is still an absolutely beautiful time of year and you will enjoy the city. I would highly recommend a walk around the old city including the market, king square and the old loyalist burial ground.

If you have any other questions, i will help if I can.

  4. The sodas plus package includes unlimited soda, juice, mocktails, hot chocolate, and milkshakes. I had it last month for about $8/day....totally wonderful for those not interested in alcohol...I drank virgin pina coladas and strawberry daiquiris all cruise!!.....the just soda card is around $6/day.

If you type caribbean princess in the search bar of the princess forum it will make it easier even though you have to weed through many reviews about "the caribbean"...and don't worry about asking questions. That is what this board is for!

Room changes seem pretty random depending on the number of sold rooms on your sailing.

    Enjoy your cruise!
