I have been wondering this for some time. We sail mostly RC and Celebrity and have a comfort level on these ships. Please compare to MCS.

The policy used to be that you could get off earlier. Some ports wouldn't be allowed due to customs set up. I also know that they at times would charge a fee to do this. I would check with cruise line and then confirm it prior to making plans

I agree with you, very frustrating that they fill the bottles with the sign right in front of them. The staff will not say a word.

Where can you buy cans of water? I don't remember seeing it on the shelves of supermarkets.

If you think about it, Venezia was not in operation during covid and then it was sidelined and moved from Costa to Carnival. So, in essence you can take about three years off its age. Hence very few people have sailed on her its a new ship.

Hello, I'm thinking of booking Carnival Venezia. There is a good price on deck 1 or 2 inside cabins. I'm curious of the noise on Deck 1 from the sub deck below it. Deck 2 above are cabins I'm also thinking about deck 2 cabins, there is a bar and atrium area on deck 3 above the Deck 2 cabins. The Venezia is a Vista Class ship, sharing the same design as the Carnival VISTA, Carnival HORIZON and Carnival PANORAMA. Does anyone have experience on any of these ships and can't point us in the right direction? Thanks

tWe cruise almost all the time on Royal Caribbean. We always request early dining because of my wife's digestive issues. If there are occasions where early is not available we contact the special needs department and they will move it due to health issues. We are thinking about booking the Venezia but the Your Time dining was the only thing available. Does Carnival have a department that I can contact to get an early assignment? If not, how does "Your Time" work? Can we get an early assignment for every night prior to boarding? Thanks for any advice that you might have.

Question, we are Diamond Plus with 365 points. We are going on Celebrity where we are Elite and have 448 points. Are there any levels of the basic Elite that correlates to the Diamond levels?

Been four years since I last sailed on Celebrity. Been on a number of Royal cruises in the past few years and I think the Windjammer quality and selection has gone downhill. Going on Summit and curious about fellow cruisers opinions. Thanks
