  1. None. It's a separate dining room on the 3 Pinnacle Class ships.
  2. I guess I'll find out in 78 days when we board the Rotterdam. We had paid EBP on the Nieuw Statendam, but plan to upgrade the Have It All Signature Package to Elite. We really only got a handful of receipts, and I don't know why. It's not like I wanted to document every single thing I drank.
  3. Yep. Definitely out of order. But both sheets are here. It was hard to read the tiny images on my phone.
  4. You'll get a disembarkation form. Just fill it out. These might be out of order....
  5. As long as you are carrying all your luggage off and you take a cab, you should be OK as long as there is no delay arriving.
  6. We had one excursion in St. Thomas that needed to scan the app bar code away from the ship. They had a manifest with our names in case someone's phone did not work. I would not worry if you don't have the app.
  7. Perhaps it's because we look like people concerned about paper waste, but we almost never had to sign a drink slip. The two exceptions were the Pinnacle Grill and Sel de Mer. In both restaurants we ordered wines that were well above the $15 EBP limit. We bought the Elite Package, standalone, before the cruise. (We opted for Have It All on our upcoming cruise. We'll upgrade right after we book our PG lunches.) I load up on paid OBC for the upgrade.
  8. It's not really a matter of need. Covet ✔️ Desire ✔️ Wish for ✔️ Need ❌
  9. Not exactly. I scanned the dailies and there were no cooking classes on our sailing. It was a Slots Tournament for the most part. They did do some classed in BB King. It functions like the Queen's Lounge during the day.
  10. Cooking classes, which I also do not attend, were held in the BB King Lounge. (I hope I'm right about this. I scanned and posted the daily programs that will make or break my reputation as a truth teller.)
  11. You know those "added treats?" They were not available on our sailing in December. The amenities list I got had sushi listed as well. Ours was a week long cruise, and there were no children anywhere in the Retreat Cabana area. If only we had realized that we could had had free sailing children in both our room and the cabanas! I cannot believe we missed out. As someone said, there is no bar in the Retreat. You have to go all the way to the Crow's Nest if you want a drink. (Probably around 75 feet.) Or, you can order from your cabana stewards. We have been on sailings where parents have had their children in the Retreat. They were well-behaved. I knew this was bound to happen when I saw Adult Coloring Time on the daily program. What's next? Mar-teen-y Happy Hour?
  12. C'mon... We all know the real reason to book Club Orange. (Hint: Rhymes with "Goat Nag".)
  13. The America's Test Kitchen room is now the Club Orange Dining Room.
  14. If I might be so brave, the "Rolling Stone" is a licensing thing with the magazine.
  15. It was in the cabin inside the folder on the desk. We just happened upon it by chance.
  16. I was trying to come up with a snarky reply, but I had to tap out. 😁
  17. Take the "L." In writing, it says, "Pinnacle Grill is the ultimate steakhouse at sea, where an exceptional menu and impeccable service make for one of finest meals you’ll have. The refined menu features a selection of 28-day wet-aged USDA Prime steaks — each one meticulously selected to guarantee the finest quality — as well as classic steakhouse dishes and innovative recipes from James Beard-award-winning chef and Culinary Council® member, David Burke." You can probably parse this to compare "features" to "rigidly, absolutely requires," but the minute you do that, you're capilizing the L.😉
  18. This opens up a whole host of possibilities! If you are right, and I hope you are, that means double dumplin's and clothesline bacon are a possibility. Is there a Lipitor cocktail?
  19. No. Club Orange does not open specialty dining earlier. We had CO in December and have it again in Spring. I found out that reservations opened up in our CC roll calls. However, it looks like 4-5 months is the norm. We're 80 days out from our Rotterdam sailing and there is quite a bit of availability. There are some nights booked up for 6:30, 7:00, & 7:30 - but those look to be sea days.
  20. We were told that it covered anything in the Signature Beverage Package in December. We had the Elite Beverage Package and we never needed that 16th alcoholic beverage.
  21. The lobster dumplings were quite tasty. I could have easily had a whole plate of them. The lobster sauce was very good as well.
  22. On the Nieuw Statendam a few weeks ago, we had the tenderloin with lobster ravioli (me) and DW had the dry aged Delmonico. My entrée was the house specialty. DW's carried a $25 supplement. The regular steaks are wet-aged, 28 days. All the steaks are USDA Prime. We both ordered medium rare steaks and that's exactly what we received. (I guess I'll have to go back to taking a photo of my meat after I cut it. You know, for "proof of cook."🙄) The food, the service, and the overall experience were excellent. I sometimes wonder if we're on the same ship. I'm really torn for our upcoming cruise. I hate to order the same thing again, but it was amazing.
  23. This particular setting toggled off for one of our phones. It's under network and internet. I think I had to enable data roaming as well. (My troubleshooting was not super rigorous. I just made Michelle's phone look like mine. I had wifi calling working previously. She left Apple and came over to the dark side last year.) I don't know if that will help, but it's worth a shot.
  24. Yes. As long as your phone and carrier support it. We were on the Nieuw Statendam less than a month ago. I was able to receive spam texts and annoying telemarketer calls from the Retreat cabanas, Club Orange dining, our room. You name it. It was just like being at home. We have T-Mobile and the latest Google Pixel kit.
  25. The verandah rooms will have the ocean view pricing. The 40% thing means that the fare is 40% less than it was at some point. When we first cruised with the dinosaurs in the 1990s, the discount was off full fare or tariff rates. The names have changed. The upgrade is a pretty good deal now, though.
