  1. I know this doesn't help on Princess, but other cruise lines do have a lunch menu with reduced cost.
  2. We dress up, however, there is no longer a dress code on most of the cruise lines. Regardless, if a line has Formal, Dress your best, or work in the yard, clothes. Anything goes! SMH
  3. Francisco even kept an eye out for us in the theater and invited us to the premiere seats even though we did not have that package. Where were these seats in the showroom? TIA
  4. Like they say in Jamaica! Poo poo happens!
  5. Still see postcards in many ports, shops, stores.
  6. Is that why they discontinued all that?
  7. Don't want, don't need. Just posting changes that have happened over the years. These were provided in your cabin Free without asking.
  8. Years ago you had free playing cards, post cards pens, etc. Those years are gone. Never coming back.
  9. Not free food! They paid for the Plus or Premium. It was free B4, LOL
  10. Can or may we close our eyes when we eat one?
  11. Do let us know what cruise line you go to. The past 2 years we were on RCI, CELEBRITY, MSC, NCL & Princess. They all have their pluses & minuses! Happy Cruising!
  12. I guess we cannot all think the same way. We do many different things on a cruise. So, those of you who think $150 is worth it or the Chefs table is worth it, Go 4 it. Happy Cruising & Happy Labor Day. Getting closer to our Enchanted Princess 21 day Med cruise in Oct 2023.
  13. You are correct! Sorry, I was on another cruise line when I was on the helipad going out of or into Venice. Done too many Cruises and getting old. LOL Happy Cruising!
  14. Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it. Happy Cruising!
  15. To cruise is about $150pppday. Then if you have a family of 4. 'Likely' is a very nebulous term. I have a cruise on Symphony OTS Central Park Balcony for 7 days out of Fort Lauderdale in Feb 24 for a total price of $673pp. That is $96pdaypp. How many hours is the tour? Been cruising Princess since 1987 and have many cruises and days with Princess. Been through many ship tours on the ships many times. Including the Bridge, Backstage, Gallery, Laundry, etc. Been on the Bridge and helipad as we left and arrived Venice. So, I do agree with you that $150 is high and should be worth maybe worth half that. JMHO!
  16. Thanks for your opinion. I still believe that is too much. How long was the tour? Some people cannot afford $150 pp. I'm just talking about my experiences on Princess and the other cruise lines. How done many over the years. Many have these types for selected guests such as Most Traveled Cruisers, etc., Free.
  17. Yes, free is different than $150. What does it a Cruise line to give a tour of the ship to selected guests? To me it would be a perk or a PR event.
  18. For $150 you should get alot more! LOL They use to be free! But $ count!
  19. Some lines don't serve lobster in MDR Some charge extra for it in MDR. Some charge extra for 2nd tail. Personally it is not worth it regardless. Not true Maine lobster. Very small tail 2 bites
  20. If you have the Plus or Premium can you order any drink in there? Attending just for the view or company. TIA
  21. Thanks for your info and opinion. I never considered this as a perk! $1 off a drink is somewhat cheap for a perk. Other lines did much more and gave free drinks for a couple of hours plus food each evening. We don't cruise for the perks, but if they are supposed to be perks, show some value. JMHO!
  22. Doesn't sound like it is of any value except a place to sit. So, why check to see if you are authorized to be in there? What are they giving you? Another perk gone away.
  23. What is the Elite HH now since Princess has the Plus and Prenium?
  24. Did you buy the package? Did you pay for the extras you don't need? So, I agree with you. Pay for what you want and need. You are not justifying the additional cost and why the cruise lines are increasing the costs.
