  1. Yes they still supply robes. In fact their robes are nice large, thick, terry cloth and are much nicer than those found on any of the other cruise lines. I was really disappointed on Princess cruise line. I expected the kind of robes they have on carnival when we were going on an Alaskan cruise. Instead in our mini suite all they supplied were flimsy thin robes with elbow length sleeves!

Thank you so much Jana. I was beginning to think after over 100 reading my question and no one responding, that this was an absurd question.

Thank you again. One less thing to pack!!!!!:):o:)

  2. Good morning. It has been almost two years since I have cruised on "Carnival" and for the life of me, I cannot remember if they supply robes or not. :D I don't want to pack mine if I do not have to. Thank You!!!!

  3. here, in the spirit of your problems with room service - this is what i was thinking of concerning some of my own experiences with room service, and how you have to kind of work with them :)

To get the full effect it should be read aloud. [You will understand what 'tenjewberrymuds' means by the end of the conversation.]

My DEPENDS....My DEPENDS.,,,,OMG, funniest thing I have EVER read.

  4. Way to long to wait.. Thank goodness I'll be packing summer clothes.

    Advice would be appreciated.

Are you WC bound? When we did this cruise, there were many both manual and electric. So many of the shuttles we took to different places had the WC lift and in the front of the buses was strictly for this purpose.

  5. Okay ladies I need your opinion. I have a small rolling rack that I want to put in my room. I wanted to start getting my outfits ready for my cruise on Feb 6.

Well my kids and husband are teasing me saying it is too soon to be getting your outfits together. Do any of you start planning 3 months in advance?

    Lol. No. Lol.

Honestly, I would feel like I would have to wash and iron everything all over again if it was laid out 3 months in advance.

I DO however, love the idea that some ladies have on CC with the spread sheets. :):):)

  6. The problem with that is those forums are very inactive but thanks for the recommendation.

Sorry. I always have tons of luck. I would just put my question in the "search" box and I would always get info. Wish I could help. (no kids) :)

  7. I am down to two choices, the Oasis motel (160$) or The Hilton Marina( 259$) in Fort Lauderdale before my cruise. They are both close to the hotel and port, so it won't cost too much for transport. The Oasis has better reviews, but it is A LOT smaller with few accommodations. The Hilton has a huge pool with nice views, but with less good reviews. I need help... Thank you :)

By FAR, the Hilton. What month are you going? We did not pay nearly that amount. Oh, and I agree with the other poster about the reviews. People love to complain, no matter what. The Hilton Marina is beautiful. We loved sitting outside at night at the bar with a couple of cocktails watching the sunset.

  8. Did two land vacations there, and loved it.

I would love to cruise there because the ship would be your hotel room, and most meals would be had there too therefore savings, yet you have usually three days to expore the island/s. What I loved about Bermuda was that it was clean, and very little poverty to be seen, also the transportation system, be it bus, or water taxi was not expensive and easy to use to get around. The beauty of the place was also unique. so much more.

After my Canada/New England cruise next year, Bermuda cruise is tops on my list:)

    Eloquently stated.

  9. I really have not been to one that I did not like, or at least find something to like about it.

So it is hard for me to pick one, but of the ones that I have been to, my favorites would be Key West, Grand Cayman, and Saint Martin, but still say for it is hard to pick one, let alone three.

Also, I have not been there on a cruise, but have been on land vacations, and would love to cruise to Barbados, St Lucia and Bermuda. So something to look forward to some day.

Wonderful choices, but PLEASE, if given a chance, go to Bermuda. Absolutely AMAZING.

  10. LOL. NO! I clicked on Baltimore departures, knowing it's the only Carnival ship leaving from that port.:o

    K. Let's try this again.

    Thanks Everyone!:D:D

We are leaving out of Tampa in a couple of weeks. Going to Grand Cayman, Belize, Roatan and Costa Maya. I am sure someone will beat me to the punch, but I will be posting a review when we get back..

  11. On 12/20 sailing for Breeze. We originally booked deck 2 inside cabin. In September got upgraded to deck 2 cove balcony. I know people rave about the cove balcony, but just got email to upgrade to deck 10 Lido Balcony for $40 total. Took it! First time we have booked and had two upgrade opportunities. Only 43 days, cant wait. Also looking for suggestions on beaches that are easy to get to in Aruba and Curacao. We prefer the beaches over excursions and would rather find one where we can rent chairs and relax verses take a bus and only have an hour stop as part of a tour. Also, which island is better for shopping? We are in Aruba XMas day so not sure if much will be open.

    Congrats on your upgrades.

As far as beaches and info, I would go to the PORT OF CALLS for GREAT information. Click here. HAVE FUN ON THE BREEZE

  12. DO we have to buy a full day pass for the water taxi or can we purchase as we go? Our flight was just changed and we will not be arriving now until almost 2pm at FLL. Not sure how long it will take to get from airport to Hilton.

Once you get your luggage and go outside, it is only a 10 to 15 minute cab ride. I think it was $14 plus tip.

I only recall an all day pass, but I could be wrong.
