Unfortunately there's no more Bitter n Blanc on the menu. :(
I asked the head maitre d (I'm guessing) Fernando how come they took it off and told him how much my family and I loved it....and he surprised my family and I with 20 orders of Bitter n Blanc on the last night!
One of the reasons why I love Carnival. :)

I just got off the Glory this morning and we too had a ROUGH start...and we were midship. I normally don't get sea sick but I was definitely throwing up this time around.

Not trying to be rude of course, but I just don't plan my vacation around other people's opinions. I like to go in with a fresh mind and no expectations, except to have fun with my family and relax.

Good for you. But I just asked if it was still available, not how you felt about it.

Just off Glory a few weeks ago. Yes, there were times when they set up a chocolate bar. I believe it was listed in the Fun Times as to when and where. Don't have an opinion because I never went.
Perfect. Thanks!

Are you talking about the Chocolate Extravaganza (chocolate buffet)?
If so it is usually on the last sea day at lunch time in the Lido Buffet.
I think that's what I mean lol

I googled it but only got info from 2013 so I was wondering if anyone that has been on Glory recently can give me any insight. Thanks!

Just did something similar (my parents and about 8 other bookings were on the lido deck so we were hoping we'd get a room close to theirs...) they ended up giving us a room on the upper deck (not bad for $198 for a 7-day cruise) and the only reason they did that was because the other higher decks were completely booked (yes I called and asked)...so hopefully that circumstance doesn't play a role in your room being picked. Good luck!

how does the social media stuff work without turning on the phone.
I do not want to rack up sea charges while doing that.
If you have a smartphone, you can turn off data and just keep wifi on. That's what I do with my iPad when I don't want to use the LTE service.

Definitely Curaçao. Being there while the sun was setting was breathtaking. I'm pretty sure that's where I'm going for my honeymoon.

Yes, but it's not offered every night.
Here's a hint. I missed Bitter 'n Blanc night once on the Breeze and lamented that fact to our server. He said he would special order it for me for the next night, and he did - TWO servings every night for the rest of the cruise! I made converts all around the table with the extra servings :D
My waiter on my Breeze cruise did something similar!
We absolutely loved it the night that had it....we kept raving about it so he put in a HUGE order for it for the final night (30 orders) for us. Needless to say we were ecstatic lol.

thanks for taking the time to type a review! How did the 28 and 25 year-old like the cruise? Was there a lot for them to do on board? I sailed the Breeze last year and I'm wondering if there's a significant difference in ships.

I don't need any eyebrow product. My brows are dark and thick. I just shape them.
Must be nice.
Mine are pretty dark and thick as well and I have a unibrow lol... I use my pencil, and a little bit of concealer to shape them. I hate getting my eyebrows waxed, tweezed, etc. I can't take it.

Indiana,
If you want something easy to find at Walmart, I use Revlon Brow Fantasy. It is a pencil on one end, and a gel brush thing on the other. It comes in 4 shades from light blond to dark brownish black. The 2nd lightest one is the one I use to fairly well match my (dyed) red hair which is a mix of Loreal Preference 6RB and 6R. Betty
I'm gonna try that.
Even though I already have my fave product, I still like to test out others.

QUESTION: What eyebrow product do you use?
I use, and LOVE MAC's eyebrow pencil. It's so light, smooth, and very natural looking. I've been using it for the past year and I have no complaints. Sephora has a pretty good one also by Anastasia I believe. But that one is a bit heavier.

indiana71, sounds like you had a successful Macy's trip. Can't wait to see the red dress!

600?! Wow lol
I can never bring myself to paying that much for hair, but then again I'm sure it was some great quality hair.

Yes, I did. Very disappointed because I hoped it would come up at about $20-25. I didn't love it enough to pay almost $50 for it. I find that there are some clothes I like at one price but when they are much lower in price, I love them! That was pretty much the way with every place I went yesterday - Macy's, Burlington Coat Factory, Dress Barn and Ross. I saw things I liked in all of them but the price was not low enough to make me buy.
Lol! I completely understand.

I think so--I am 5'7 and weigh 138. I do have a bit of a pooch from having kids but from the front you can't see it(only from the side). I have been doing water zumba most of the summer so I am more toned then before.
Gerry
I think you'll be fine.
If not, there's always spanx! Lol
I'm pretty small, but I'm considering investing in a pair of spanx, just in case.

Lexi.
You had much better luck than I did at Macy's. That dress is so cruise-y and what a buy!
I looked at a bathing suit but it was only reduced to $48 - not a good enough buy.
Thanks!
Did you scan it at the price check thing? Everything I picked up was about $5 - $10 cheaper when I scanned them.
-
Perfect cruise dress at a perfect price! I do well at Macys too! I usually wait till the end of August, they have great sale racks.
Their sale racks are great, indeed! And they had a one-day sale yesterday, so I got some really good pieces for myself, my sisters, and my mom. 5 tops, 3 dresses, and a romper for under $100.
-
LEXIpoo: I WANT that dress!!!! Since boopsahoy mentioned she likes end of August sales...I WILL visit Macy's before Sept 1:rolleyes:!:p...time is getting short...
Just read in Rachael Ray's magazine: In several large cities the Food Truck idea is being morphed into mobile boutiques. In Stillwater MN, an old newspaper truck is "The Fashion Mobile". A Fashion Truck in LA even has a small dressing room.
How cool to have the clothes and accessories come into your neighborhood!
Lol, isn't it perfect??
You guys should check out retailmenot [dot] com. You can type in the store/website of your choice and it'll show you all the coupons available for that store.

Good morning everyone,
I found address that I fell in love with for our next cruise and I want to surprise my husband with it when I come out one night. Do you think it looks ok or do you think it looks a little on the sl***y side?
At 61 I sure don't need to be wearing dress that look sl***y.
I hope this link works.
Thanks ahead of time for any and all input.
Have a great day,
Gerry
Oh my goodness, I'm in love! I have to have that dress for my 26th birthday celebration!!
As for you, I say go for it! It is definitely a beautiful dress, far from sl***y. All of your lady parts are covered so I don't see the harm in it lol.
Just off Glory: No more Bitter n Blanc??

Did you guys use the American Feast menu?? He said that was why it was taken off, because of the new menus they were rolling out.
