Well you used to be able to call and they would make you pay the difference for the room now they wont. They quote you the top price of the Bid on the phone.

When you book a cruise and sign into the app there is a tab called lets get you upgraded. Then there is a slide bar that lets you bid on a room. The two I looked at the top bids were told to me it would cost to change my room. The same exact amount from 2 different reps.

My cruise is in 53 days I do not know if I can cancel and rebook. Normally they used to do it for you now they wont.

I have never had this happen before and from 2 people on different days and the exact amount as the club suite and family suits top upgrade price on the little slider?

That's my point they would not do it. They quote you the $800 upgrade price

Nope $50 more than I paid I was going to pay the difference. Nothing new

1 thing I failed to mention was to prove what I am saying is true I asked for the family suite price it was the high end bid price so this is not a coincidence.

So I tried to upgrade my room from Balcony to Club balcony. Did a mock booking and also looked at another site. The difference in price was $50 more than what I paid. I called NCL 2 different times with the same answer. Instead of letting you upgrade they tell you the price is $800. Now we all know they see what we see when doing the mock booking. The price they are giving you is the high end bid price of the upgrade site they do not try to rebook you they just say no that is what I am seeing. I find this very lame.

I am glad in Florida we have at least 4 cruise ports so I do not have to sail out of New York. I did notice there are months where there are not many cruises available I know April there was not much for 2024 when I booked my March cruise.

Hopefully the draft beer stocks up for the District Brewhouse a year ago it was pathetic. And hopes up for the return of the 16oz beer.

My PC frustrates me. I called him the other day to ask to pay for a upgrade and he quoted me a price that was not the upgrade I want. I priced it all out he kept giving me a price that was alot more than it was online. Then he was argumentive . UUUUGGGG. Still did not get my upgrade about to complain which I do not do

Do they still give 12oz cans of beer like domestic. I like the 16oz with the screw on cap.

I have no Idea who came up with the name egg cream. (No eggs in it) I have never tried it but it seems like Youhoo or the fake shakes MCD sells which I do not like. but I could be wrong

Oh thanks for that heads up need to try that. The problem is I am allowed to sign up early as a Platinum member so I always grab all my special restaurant times. But then I booked one restaurant that most in my group gave the thumbs down too. (Q) so I was going to just change it to one that is still available to book.

Is there a reason you can not change your dining reservations in the app or online?

I have asked this before and for some reason they do not. The young adults in my cruise group get bummed out on this.

This must of started this past year. I had a coffee maker late Dec early January last year and do not recall the charge for the stuff above specialty.

I was on the Epic when they had those shows and yes they were my favorite shows I have seen on a cruise. My son who was around 14 at the time now he is almost 21 to this day says that is his favorite ship. And we have been on almost all the Breakaway and Plus ships.

My son has a peanut, tree nut and egg allergy . We have been on many cruises and many with NCL. We always fill out the form. And like others have said you can tell them what he wants the day before and also they prepare his food separately. He is a adult now but he asks in the buffet and tells them his allergies. He can eat all the meats the pizza and the burgers and dogs. He stays away from all the saucy type stuff and the things he has never had. 1 time we went to Tepenyaki on the getaway and they brought him 2 fillets since he could not eat anything from the grill he loved it and his food defiantly looked better than ours. The specialty restaurants seemed easier to eat at same day with out a day heads up.
