I know this is so true. And do you want to stand there and argue when you get to the restaurant. Most of the servers don't even know what your talking about when you bring it up they always have to call or get some one. And the priority excursion or leaving the ship benefit never bothered with that either. If a benefit is too hard to utilize is it a benefit at all?

They should probably just call this a quiet zone instead of adult only. When my son was young no one ever bothered me about his age all be it he hardly ever wanted to sit in the loungers.

I live in Florida so its the reverse for me we have 4 cruise ports.

I agree with all of this as a GEN Xer. Oh and by the way I cant stand and those fish fingers/chicken nuggets stuff. That and anything that looks like a stew in the buffet.

I think the time a year you cruise and where you cruise from makes a big difference on how relaxing a cruise will be. I think if your going in February the ship will not be as crowded. But I also am not a big fan of sailing out of NY mainly cause it will be cold. Some of the most relaxing cruises I have been on smaller ships were out of Tampa. I do like both ships though and have always noticed even when the ship was not sold out folks do congregate in certian areas and it will be crowded in those areas all the time. Like pool deck area, Spice H20, main dining at dinner, and the GYM in the morning.

Most of the time they wanted to see my physical card. I would not risk it.

Sales tax is 7% like most of FL. Property tax for most will not be over $3000 on average . The cost of a house in FL has more than doubled in the last couple years in desirable areas so taxes eventually will go up on properties.

Yea that is why I saw folks from those areas mainly NY/NJ flooding into FL complaining about taxes and cost of living in the last few years. I think the main reason was nothing was open.

I live where it is warm and sunny all the time but still prefer trips that do not sail out of the North East Alaska would be an exception. Are the NY/MA trips cheaper than the Florida trips?

I was wondering why your bookings showed up so late. When I booked my December cruise a few months ago it all came up except I had to wait 120 days to book restaurants. My Vibe booking was available immediately.

I had the Q on the Bliss and the food was good but its a lot of food. I think this is going to end up being free. Food Republic I have gone several times its we enjoyed everything we tried but it was like appetizers or lunch. The one special restaurant I did not care for at all was the Mexican the food was not good at all.

I totally agree. Another point I will add is for folks that like wine and bubbly which I do not. I looked at the included list and the not included list not allot of choices. My wife likes this stuff she is probably not going to like it. I saw one prosecco listed in the included list. And there own wine North South stuff is 2 or 3 dollars extra wow.

I agree with what your saying and our habits are similar when it comes to the drinks unless in the casino the numbers go up. There is no rhyme or reason on some of the prices even when compared to other drinks. Grey Goose and Crown are similarly priced but Grey Goose is included. And that is only because everyone had a fit when it was not.

Not the point. Were not talking street prices no one expects that. Bailys is not premium at all and not even $16 at the Ritz Carlton. What's included and what's not is becoming a game to see what they can get away with charging to lure you into another package. Don't forget if the drink package was not "FREE" 80% of the folks on CC would be on another cruise line cause there bar tab would be $2000 at the end of the cruise .

One thing they do now if you book though a TA and have a issue you can still call NCL hit the button on the phone stating you used a TA and NCL still helps you. I just did it for a up coming cruise I could not get a discounted 2 meal deal for the second guest in my room online so I called and they fixed it. I have access to everything on my booking.

I was curious why you stopped sailing NCL? I know my wife did a cruise with out me some years ago on Celebrity and did not like it she said the ship shut down between 9 and 10 pm and it was mostly old folks. I will not do another Carnival trip I am platinum on Carnival and NCL. The dining on Carnival I hated. and some of there rules I did not like either.

My son enjoyed the Escape over the Bliss because he is active and likes to play basketball and other out door activities. On The Bliss just like the Encore they removed the whole sports deck and replaced it with go carts and lazer tag. After you do those two you probably wont go again.

That is a great idea I never thought about that. I have forgone the Haven a few times because I went with a group. I do not have to be in the Haven to have a great cruise but it sure is nice when I can.

Yea I saw the price was more than the Escape the week before Christmas too. About the same as the OP said for the Christmas week. But I was paying that pre pandemic. The new ship there just not giving out the bargains I wouldn't either. Came down to the stops for me the stops Prima had were not my favorite.

NP I actually wanted folks to know after I bought mine lol. I do love that fact of not running to get them to be only turned away. Also not being in the Haven or suite this trip made me remember I could not escape the crowds if I did not get the passes for us.

I have not cruised in a couple years but I booked a trip on the Escape the week before Christmas. I noticed you can buy your VIBE pass before you get on the ship. So I purchased them (More than double the price). Will there be a lot more passes sold now?

Do you think Escape will have it by December. Like me some diet coke with Jack
