  1. Not considering but doing. We will be docking in Kahului on Saturday
  2. The $19 up charge steak is from Crown Grill as an option and I have seen it on every menu for dinner on my last 6 cruises
  3. We were at a lovely table good food no complaining and good conversation
  4. Fat fingers. MTP. Most traveled passengers AKA MTG Most traveled guests. They have changed the name a few times
  5. Be very careful booking with future cruise department on board. They are not Princess employees and are not up to date with all the details and rules. They promise a lot of things that they cannot deliver
  6. We will continue to eat at the Bottticelli dining room around 8:00 where we know we will be treated with respect and where the managers set a much better tone
  7. 5-9 on the Ruby. Please pay attention to earlier posts
  8. 45 minutes to an hour is not last minute. I spent many a year working in restaurants and it was assumed that clearing and doing side work after close was expected. Harassing diners to order an hour or so before closing is abuse of customers and will create less tips believe me. We went to Botticelli dining at an hour before closing and were treated wonderfully. It is the Manager in Reserve Class that is the problem. As we used to say “The fish stinks from the head”
  9. Lahaina is basically a wasteland at this point. Any ships sailing to Maui are stopping in Kahului They will have similar tours but many will take more time due to location
  10. I don’t understand why a casino cruise or suites have anything to do with judging walking into Sabatini’s at 8:00 and being seated. They don’t know our cabin assignment until we are asked to pay
  11. 16 day cruise. We don’t take anything under 10 days. I am willing to bet most of the people having issues are on short trips on the larger ships. Eating later also helps. Most of there’s folks seem to want to eat at 5:00 sharp. Obviously they cannot all be accommodated. We never eat before 7:30
  12. Sold out over a month ago. Every other venue like theatre, Explorers, Piazza etc are jammed. Take longer cruises and no problems getting in. I am willing to bet the issues only exist a on short cruises
  13. Usually we love Reserve dining. No wait good service. However we are currently on the Ruby and after one experience in the Reserve area we have abandoned it for normal MDR. They are supposed to be open till 9:00. We walked in at 8:15 and the were trying to close up. Give a menu and 30 seconds to order Manager was rude felt pressured to gobble down dinner and leave. Almost 2 weeks left and we will not go back. W went to Botticelli dining room at 8:00 last night and were treated like gold
  14. On the Ruby now. Walked past Crown Grille at 7:45 and it was nearly empty
  15. It is safe and affordable but also really slow in my opinion We come up from Portland on Amtrak SeaTac is really pretty far away from the city
  16. So is the 18% per drink double dipping if you don’t have a drink package ?
  17. Suites are only guaranteed free specialty on embarkation night
  18. Not unless you count the $19 steak upcharge from Crown Grill. There is always some kind of meat on the menu but not always steak
  19. I have yet to find a country I. Old not use the ATT International day plan in. On ship we just stick to email
  20. Oh I will probably be talking to the F&B director I see him often in Wheelhouse. Just don’t need to be pushed and rushed. I don’t really need the extra entree and I am betting in Botticelli it won’t have wait after 8:00. If so it may just get funky Plus I will see the captain at MYG lunch tomorrow
  21. On the Ruby now showed up at 8:15 in Reserve dining was given a menu and pushed to order right away. Dining staff running all over the dining room frantically. Pushed out in 30 minutes will never eat there again will forgo reserve class and just eat in Botticelli
  22. If you are talking Trans Atlantic and Trans Pacific cruises then there will be at least one stretch of 5-8 days at sea with no ports
  23. We cruise 3-4 times a year on crises 10-20 days each and since premier folks only get 2 it is never an issue. We have not seen much of a change in availability since the new package has shown up. As I said you could have shot a cannon through Sabatini’s at 7:40 on embarkation night
