Sorry but no self service laundry. They used to have them on the smaller ships that were sold during the pandemic. But the laundry by the bag is very good.

I am sailing in October and plan to get a test before I fly to Europe. Better safe than sorry.

I have done several of these cruises and enjoyed them all. I travel by myself since my husband passed. The South Pacific cruise was the one he wanted to do but he got sick and made me promise to go without him and to keep on cruising. I prefer a lower deck (like 4 or 5) and mid ship, but that is my preference. As far as laundry goes there are no self laundry machines you have to send it to be done. You can always wash your unmentionables in the sink send everything else to be done. Unless of course you want to pack 35 days worth of clothes. Hope you have a great cruise and enjoy the South Pacific.

Whether in a Neptune or an inside cabin, you will have the same stewards for the whole cruise. Usually there are two because they have so many cabins to take care of. They will introduce themselves on the first day of the cruise.

I'm not threatening anyone just stating a fact. But just carrying a bottle just so you don't have to wear a mask is pure idiocy. My son died from covid because he didn't want to believe it was real.

I'm sure they mean that you are sitting down at a table eating or drinking not walking around with a bottle of water. Follow the rules or end up in quarantine.

I've been on a few trans Pacific cruises and the internet is sort of hit or miss. Depends where the satellites are. I never had a problem, if at first I couldn't get a signal I just waited and tried again later. Question 1 - no there is no service charge for room service. There is some items that have up-charges. Question 2 - You can bring wine but you will be charged a corkage fee for each bottle. Cheaper to just get a wine package on board. Question 3 - The buffet is open for a late night snack around 10 pm or so. Not sure how long it is open, most likely about an hour or so. Question 4 & 5 - Can't help with those. Has been a while since I have been on that ship.

WiFi is only the basic, so you may want to upgrade to the better one and use the obc for that.

Hi Kazu, I'm sailing on the Zaandam, Sept 3, 2022 Montreal to Boston 7 days. This is a Sail with Seth cruise. Then on October 15, 2022 I'm doing the 150 Anniversary cruise on the Rotterdam, 15 days.

Thanks to covid and less people sailing there have been many changes made to the menus, also to what things have an upcharge. Hopefully once there are more people sailing and covid becomes a thing of the past maybe there will be less upcharges.
