  1. There is no limit on the time to wait just that you can only get one drink at a time. No limits on quantity. I had Royal Replenish and got bottled water, or sparking water with each drink or glass of water I purchased. The bottled water included is the 16 oz size, not the large bottles in the mini-bat/water package. Brand varies by ship/availability. You can order specialty coffee, water etc. any where they are available (MDR, Bars, Specialty restaurants) except Starbucks which is not included.

  2. Have you tried cruiselinerooms? It has actual pics of cabins although not every cabin is available. Usually can find same class or same one on another deck? I like deckplangenius for information / advice but they don't have actual pics.

  3. Very true OP if you are a late nighter and on deck 10,no problem! We were on 14, with the zip line landing pad right on our balcony roof and mini golf right behind that. Seems like a lot of kids running too.... I did enjoy the Aqua show and practice but not so much the cheering during other shows / contests held in the venue which was quite loud even with door shut. I was amused watching some others on the opposite side...especially the big guy in boxers with his butt crack showing...:-). There are more fun things to spend the money on that's for certain!

  4. Just returned from Oasis. The package included all frozen virgin drinks and all specialty coffees without spirits. (Not Starbucks). As well it included sparkling water such as San Pellegrino, fresh squeezed juice, bottled water at all bars, and of course freestyle sodas etc. very good value for us. Although some of the staff were not 100 percent familiar apparently when they swipe your sea pass it zeroes out the price of included beverages and credits the gratuity to them so it works well. And staff were pretty helpful overall. Also in many cases it is less money if you buy virgin drink and add a shot yourself, ie Piña Coladas saved a dollar. However, you'd have to drink a whole lot to make the Ultimate package worthwhile in my opinion.

  5. This info was very helpful, but one final question I did not see the answer to is whether there is a need for the water package that gives me a pack of bottled water in my cabin when I arrive? I feel I shouldn't have to pay both if bottled water is included in the package I buy, but would I then have to go get it each day to bring to the cabin? (DH takes pills every 3 hours and hates the tap water? Both of us drink a lot of water.) no big deal really but since he is handicapped I like it to be as convenient as possible too.

  6. Excuse me for tagging in on this question, but, I don't see these packages yet on the RC website under my reservation in December. Does that mean they aren't available yet in December 2013? Also does Premium coffee include Starbucks? My last cruise was Princess and they had a Coffee Card...

  7. RoLoHa, Early to mid December is actually one of the least expensive times of the year to cruise for obvious reasons with the upcoming holidays making it more difficult for many to afford to cruise. Oasis and Allure are truly magnificent ships and nothing can really compare which is definitely why they are pricing higher than other cruise lines and also even higher than other RCCL ships. What date are you cruising? I just checked pricing on the Oasis for 12/14/2013 and there are less expensive oceanview cabins than the boardwalk balconies are currently. Might want to check that out if this is your sailing and you would prefer an oceanview balcony!

Thanks Peacemaker59....we usually try to travel after Thanksgiving to take advantage of the pre-winter prices for sailings leaving from ports near our home. This cruise we are traveling with friends and I was just surprised not to find any of the usual deals we are accustomed to.

  8. I have an off-topic question about Oasis fares and what is actually considered a "good deal." We are cruising in a Boardwalk Balcony in early/mid December and it's by far more expensive price per day of any previous cruise we've done in ocean balcony cabins. About 1/3 higher.....While this ship seems magnificent, I am wondering if there are ways to snag better pricing more in line with price per day of other ships?
