I love my tag holders but they are only the right size for RCI so I use the packing tape if I cruise another line and it works nicely.
I also have Empress questions prior to my September sailing. Is there a 'promenade" deck for walking? And other than the pool deck where are there deck chairs to sit and relax? We will be on deck 4 for this cruise as this was the only available accessible cabin when we booked. Not having a balcony is going to be very different and I feel we will need to be able to get out often.

Enjoyed you review. I am more looking forward to sailing now that I've learned more.

I like the MSC way...Instead of telling me how much extra is recommended or providing envelopes for my convenience I was not made to feel that I should do anything. the steward and dining staff did not expect tips and did not have the gratuitous behaviors I often dislike on other lines. The service was just as good as good in my opinion, and those I chose to give a little extra to seemed very appreciative of anything I gave them. I think tipping is personal and should always be discreet.

there was no fee for the waterslide.... but it's one of the worst waterslides i've been on --- it's not "steep" enough --there was no speed/momentum. I stopped half way through. I usually like waterslides, but i didn't bother doing this one more than once.
Oh no that's a bummer!!!!

Yes I think the customer service I have had has been excellent too and I have called several times between the two cruises I booked. More than made up for all the issues with the web site!
-
No there was no fee.
Thank you Amy-Catherine for clarifying. Was hopping the blog poster had that wrong!
-
I think I saw same video and why I asked about fee..

The height limit is 120 cm or 1.2m which is just under 4 feet tall so that is how big your kids or grandkids have to be to ride which for most kids is in that 8 plus range but sometimes younger if they are bigger
Thank you!

But younger than teen? 9-10? No one has been sure?
-
Great pic! So is it just teens???

Thanks! My granddaughters are 10 and 13 and this looks like something they would love!

I searched and found no results...my last cruise did not include kids so I never checked out the slides. Questions: is there a minimum age/size requirement, is there a charge?

Breakfast at Le Muse is very nice..the usual stuff. I was very spoiled eating up by the pool most mornings where they serve buffet breakfast every day and will bring you a made to order omelette if you ask nicely.

This video is a personal vlog, not a professional review, from a passenger on a recent sailing. It's long but if you want to see the Yacht Club, skip to the 45:45 mark.
We were on same cruise...can't wait to watch your video!

On our recent Divina cruise in YC we noticed those coming to Le Muse for dinner leaned towards smart casual every night. On formal night most dressed up more but I only saw one tux and formal dress. Le Muse was very warm so less is more!

Thanks for your review. We are leaving Saturday for our first of two scheduled MSC Divina cruises.

It was listed as More For Less Escape Pass

That's what I got, the drink voucher package. Wasn't clear to me whether I needed the additional coffee package also.
-
When we were on the Divina last year we pre-purchased vouchers for cocktails and beer, but now I cannot find anything about them. Does anyone know where I can order them? Thanks!
I was able to log in to my January reservation using booking number and last name, and then found option to "enhance your cruise" where I chose the food and beverage option, and found the coupon option listed. I selected and saved it but found they do not charge you until you actually board. I can see this order listed on my reservation now when I check it.

Yes, anyone can join in! Welcome!

I know a cruise line that can give you that wish. I have done that many times. :D
I went on a couple of cruises on that line! And my hubs is Retired sub sailor!

Has anyone cruised and never got off the ship? We are cruising again and been to the ports the ship is going to. We do not care to get off and just want to stay on ship and relax and enjoy the warm weather. Any perks for staying on ship? Any suggestions. We just want to zone out and not think of why we live in the snow belt!!!:p
My husband and I rarely leave the ship since most of the cruises are Caribbean and we are not beach or trinket folks. I love how everything is quiet and not crowded. We get loungers by the pool and usually have no problems getting served a drink. It's so relaxing! In the past we could eat in MDR but seems like last cruise the buffet was a better choice.

Thanks DENNAS. We are really looking forward to the smaller ship experience and glad to know there will be good options. Also nice to hear more positive feedback about Empress.
