  1. Pick SC as the state and they'll verify the AU birth certificate at the terminal if at all.
  2. rcldining@rccl.com provide your reservation number, ship and date if you have a specific request
  3. Don't risk losing your cruise if final payment isn't covered on time, regardless of rewards points. Points can always be "fixed' after the fact. No always so with cruise cancelled for missing final payment.
  4. That's my understanding, but as I said, I've not started shopping around yet. Realized after I posted this that there's another batch of Caribbean itineraries coming out in a couple of weeks. Waiting anxiously for something new πŸ™‚
  5. Maybe there is some hope πŸ™‚ NOT A FAKE EMAIL. 6. Been hoping for some "new" itineraries out of Galveston, but sadly not seeing much 😞 I see only 2 (ignoring TA) that don't visit Cozumel. Why can't we get more than ONE Southern (or Eastern) trip out of Galveston???? DW has limited mobility and flying to Florida isn't really an option. Struggling to stay Loyal to Royal, but resisting the urge to shop other lines, for now 😞
  7. And NOT do a guarantee (we pick) room option. GTY is NRD nearly always.
  8. In spite of there being a LOT of very nice, close in parking, I still prefer offsite parking and shuttling to the terminal. HATE the traffic in Galveston that just kills the vacation vibe coming and going πŸ™‚ DW isn't very mobile, so even the drop off/go park/meet to go in system isn't really viable either. ONCE inside, it's an INCREDIBLE experience. LOTS of space, even when busy doesn't "feel" crowded. Since it's RC's "own" terminal, it's really focused on RC customers as opposed to just herding cats I felt in the old terminal. NOW, that "interesting" restroom layout HAS taken some getting used to. OUTSIDE restrooms are a great addition too.
  9. Marginally to us, like someone said it's heavily loaded for embarkation day. We travel with a small rolling carry on, CPAP machine, small backpack and DW's "who know what" bag and rollator, so the bag drop is DEFINITELY worth it. She uses a wheelchair through the terminal, so not sure which line goes faster getting onboard. Generally, we get to bypass the bulk of the line, but DID have to wait for "general boarding" last time as they were running short on "wheelchair assistants" to get her onboard. We don't get her scooter until we get to the room. We DID get the $18 deal during Halloween sale for one of our 2 upcoming cruises. More than that and I'll pass.
  10. To anyone that didn't get the "expected" service (both morning and evening bed open/close) did you ASK them to do it or just "expect" it to happen and gripe when it wasn't? IF you DID ASK and it wasn't done, what did you do? I've NEVER had problems with service, but I DO ask for things rather than expecting them to be mind readers.
  11. No personal experience but I've heard that sofa-bed and Pullman will be made up/put away morning and evening regardless of what time you have your "full service" visit.
  12. There are a couple of HI Express locations. We've stayed in both and they're OK. Both had the "standard" breakfast buffet.
  13. Looks like you're at the "front" of the dining room, not the back, where the galley typically is, so I'd not expect a lot of noise, especially ABOVE the dining room. Unless they're putting furniture on the ceiling, you should be fine πŸ™‚
  14. We've used a Scootaround "standard" scooter several times now and never had a problem getting it in/out of a standard balcony cabin. They fit through the standard width doorways.
  15. There's also a QR Code/website (maybe in the app too?) via which you can request items for your stateroom if you don't see the attendant.
  16. I haven't had any trouble with any streaming in the Caribbean. IF you have room on your device, I'd still download, as the WiFi+Casting MAY get flaky depending on how good a signal you have in your stateroom.
  17. I was playing with a mock booking yesterday and the website was wonkier than usual. I had to reload the payment page a couple of times then go back a couple of pages and forward again for it to show the discounts that DO apply. The first couple of times, the numbers listed didn't match the totals. Finally loaded all the numbers and they totalled correctly.
  18. Sprung for the Key, too good a deal to not do it.
  19. The points show up on your statement closing date and you can redeem them likely the next day. You can request them through the website but should call to get them to push them through if you're getting close to the date you want to use them. ESPECIALLY if you want to spend them in the Cruise Planner which will close 48 hours before your departure date.
  20. I ran into a similar issue a few months back and only after VERY CAREFULLY reviewing the receipt realized I had fat-fingered the booking number πŸ™‚ Called them up and they were able to get them processed on the proper booking number. Also what @Tudy said - call them and they can do it while you're on the phone. They don't LIKE to do it, but will if you're persistent.
  21. This is from an OLD email I created for family: LAST RESORT – if none of the above works Call the Royal Caribbean International β€œCall to Ship” service at (888) 724-7447 (888-RCI-SHIP). Might still work
  22. Seems their website is a total shipwreck 😞 Many links don't work at all or worse, redirect to one of their affiliated garages. YMMV, but hopefully they'll get the issues resolved. Hate to have to find another parking provider, but...
  23. Just got this email from them. I've been using them for years and heard a rumor they might be selling. Guess it's true.
  24. It takes practice, but it's doable. You have to make a hard turn in the hall and go STRAIGHT through the door. Can't go at an angle. Same with turning around in the room. Wife has gotten pretty good at manuevering after using one for a few trips now.The Scootaround "standard" scooter is VERY easy to turn in tight spaces. We come in the room and turn it around so we're ready to head out next time we leave the room. Backing in/out the door is kind of a trick we haven't managed yet πŸ™‚
  25. We park wife's scooter in our Standard Balcony room all the time. We do have to move the coffee table (if there is one) out to the balcony. We leave it either against the bed or the door depending on what we're doing at the time. Not sure why some people think they have to leave them in the hall.
