  1. I'm not aware of one. We frequent the coffee bar on Epic so that would be great. You didn't ask, but we were pleasantly surprised with coffee on Dawn--especially on buffet (we used the direct brew machines) two weeks ago. We like bold, dark roasts and even carry our own for first cup in the morning.

Where is the direct brew machine in the buffet? I will try it out. Thanks so much!

  2. Hey neighbor! There's 5 of us in our suite. I couldn't pass up the friends and family sail free so we asked the kids to join us. My DS hasn't been on a cruise since he was 14,

he's 31 now. My DH asked his DD and her husband to come. They have never been on a cruise. So we've got a full suite!

  3. If nobody else gets to it, I'll scan them upon my return and post. If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask in the live thread.

Thanks Doug! If you happen to see The Quest game on the dailies, please let me know. I've been telling my DS about it since our cruise on the Jewel a few years ago, and was hoping to see it again.

  4. You could certainly ask about putting six people in the Cabana. Maybe there would be an up charge. There is definitely lots of room!

We tipped our Butler $60. Which was $15 each. It had nothing to do with our bill (which was $113). It had more to do with her service.

We are a family of 6 and the Cabana I booked is for 6. I certainly hope they have not changed the plan.

  5. Depends where you are and what ship you are on. NCL (like all other cruise lines) bunkers water in port as much as possible. They use water from the municipal water systems in the ports. There are some ships that bunker 100% of their water (i.e. don't make any on board through distillation or reverse osmosis). Most will be a combination of port water and manufactured water.

The water coming out of your bathroom faucet is the same as in the buffet (although they would have a filter on the buffet water dispenser to reduce build-up in the dispenser).

If you have a casino drinks card, bottled water is free. Otherwise, it is cheaper to buy a 24-pack of 1 liter bottles.

    6-pack (1-liter bottles) $22.95

    12-pack (1-liter bottles) $39.95

    18-pack (1-liter bottles) $49.95

    24-pack (1-liter bottles) $59.95

Just looked at the water pricing for our Dawn cruise in January

    6-pack (1-liter bottles) $$27.08

    12-pack (1-liter bottles) $47.14

    18-pack (1-liter bottles) $58.94

    24-pack (1-liter bottles) $70.74

  6. Please could anyone tell me what time the shows will be on Dawn, in January 2017.

Also, will there be any themed nights/ formal nights

Thanks everyone. Have a great cruise from New Orleans on Jan 8th

I think once the Dawn starts mailing it's regular 7 day runs from New Orleans starting November 20th, we may have an idea. I'm hoping someone will post the dailies and menus as well.
