FYI, oyster sauce is considered vegetarian. it's the rare bottle (and expensive, and probably not what RCI uses) that actually contains oysters. at least buddhists in china consider it vegetarian, for whatever that's worth.

 

another question, is there escargot on Quantum?

I saw a menu posted on another thread but can't remember which thread/restaurant.

It just seems odd. I know the deck plans are not to scale, but on the CC live chat yesterday, Carolyn posted a picture of a "solo stateroom" and there was a sofa. The studios have less square footage than the E1.

I requested verification on that very photo as I have a Studio Balcony on Quantum and wondered about the sofa.

Carolyn replied in the thread that it was indeed a mistake. The pic was not a Studio.

Either you or Carolyn posted that a picture of a cabin in the webchat was a Studio. Before I get too excited about seeing a sofa in that pic, could you verify that it was an actual 'Studio'?

According to the deck plans and photo's I'm looking at there are no windows at all. Did they change the location of DL?

Never sailed on RC before and trying to find out of the drink package is right for me. I mostly drink beer and was looking at the select package since it only has beer and wine. I also didn't know how much a bucket would be. Im did see they sold small coolers and didn't know if that was RC bucket ?? Any one help me out??

 

Also can u buy the drink package on your second day on the boat??

On the RC cruises I've been on, the buckets of beer usually include a 'free' one. The drink packages only allow you to get one drink at a time, buckets of beer are not included in drink packages.

I personally find this whole process highly offensive.

 

RCI expects me to do their job that they are charging me for!

 

Get their staff to do their job, instead of their clients to pick up their slack.

 

What do they expect? self serve cruise now? hahahahaha! get a grip.

Perhaps they're letting people who don't want to wait in long lines get on the ship faster.
