I am also wondering what venues will be available for boarding day other than the Windjammer.

Whoops, didn't see "boarding day" in your post. Sorry.

Very strange to see an App being released only a few days before the cruise starts. Especially as most passengers will be en route, in airports or staying in hotels where wireless access may not be readily available.
Ummm....wireless access will be available on the ship. :D:D:D

I loved Perth. All my meals were included

After paying for all tips and excursions in advance and with a $2100 OBC, my Australia/New Zealand 18 day land/cruise tour...$60.00.

Didn't I read somewhere that NCL has this?
I know that Quantum is doing a lot with intranet. Perhaps this will be part of that?
This article says yes :) using the Royal IQ. Cost unkown.
There's an app for that: Cruise Planner and Royal iQ allow passengers to research and book restaurant reservations and communicate with other guests

There seems to be a lot of mention about recent RCL glitches. Everyone should keep up with their paperwork closely.
Good luck.. QTPie v:cool:
I do this for EVERYTHING I purchase through RC online. Last cruise I was missing the juice bottles I purchased to be delivered to my cabin Day 1. It was almost too easy to present the printout and show it to the Steward. The issue was rectified immediately.
The last thing I need is stress on vacation. :) At the end of my cruise I toss all my papers in the trash to make room/save weight for my souvenirs. :D

Looks like a great spot for Meet and Mingle!:)

Hi all,
Has the ship you were on ever run out of Euro's? Or any other exchange money?
Thanks.

I pack a big load of "I don't care how I look."
;)
I figure it blends in with my skin. :p

Hard-sided luggage deters hitch-hiking bed bugs.

I'm going to put mine on the Robotic Bartender's arm and buy free drinks for all pax on my cruise.

Thanks Colleen! Can you ask about the balcony dividers. Will there be a door that connects to each balcony? The pics I have been seeing show a space where a door/partition should go. Maybe they install those last?
-
I'm also interested in info/pics of the Studio Balconies.
Thanks in advance for any info you post on the Q!

As of now when we Cruise we tend to do Traditional Dining, might do a Chops, So on the Dynamic Dining issue if we have to book a Restaurant for nightly Complimentary Formal Dining would it be, The Grande Restaurant, or do we not have to book. Confused:confused::confused:
You don't 'have' to book anything. You can still book on the ship or just show up and pray for a short wait.
If you have a big party or prefer to eat at the same time each night, you might want to book asap. The popular times will be taken up quickly.

Just tried that all the same price [emoji17] need to contact them for advice I think
Good idea.

So you can only get kids rate son the ship? We are a family of 9! And don't think we would be accommodated in the ship last minute
Not sure. Try doing a mock booking on the site and see if a child price is listed? If you don't see anything/don't like the price, then cancel before entering credit card information.

Does anyone happen to know when menu's will be released?
The menu is there when logged in their website, under the Cruise Planner/Dining.

Book 5 fee charged restaurants and you will get 30% off the total price as an onboard credit. You can not double dip and get both discounts.

Right, but when I log in to reserve for my Quantum cruise, under Insider Tips, it says this.
- Make 3 reservations at any of our specialty restaurants and receive a 20% onboard credit† with our dining package.
- Receive a 20% onboard credit† on all Day 1 reservations.
- Kids 5 and under eat for free.
- Kids 6-12 years old eat for less. Ask about our kids specialty dining prices onboard.
- Gluten-free, lactose-free, and vegetarian options available. Ask your waiter.

The name on your legal documents need to match your name you give Royal. Otherwise, there is a good possibility they will not let you board.

Hi all.
I'm trying to sort dining for cruise. Dynamic dining is difficult, I don't know what I'm having for dinner tomorrow, never mind next June!
Can someone help me with this question.
A first night pay restaurant gets a 20% discount.
Pay restaurant bookings get discounts 20% for 3, 25% for 4 and 30% for 5 bookings.
Are they combinable I.e. If I book 5 pay restaurants including a first night booking will I get 20% of the first night AND 30% off the total?
:D:DThat's the way I understand it. Therefore I booked the Chef's Table ($85) the first night.:D:D
Peg whoops, double post

I plan on seeing all the shows and I plan on eating everything I want, where I want, when I want.
Guess my glass is half full. Although, there is a possibility I'll empty it later...:D
