Travel insurance can definitely get complicated.  Until you get comfortable with the terms and conditions, I think it's better to rely on travel insurance specialists rather than travel agents or cruise line reps.  As you get older, you realize that a lot of things can go wrong on an overseas trip and the right insurance might turn out to be a life-saver.

I would not travel without cruise insurance. I book thru a specialist. If I have to see ship dr. I pay and get full reimburse. If something happens off the ship the company pays direct. Same for airlift. Peace of mind.

Those "dragons" are Iguanas.  And I think the photo of them is in St. Maarten.  They are not dangerous but get pretty big.

Cozumel is full of them but they are indigenous to the Caribbean.  Some are specific to certain islands, blue ones in the Caymans,.

I know they are Iguanas. For those of us of a certain age who remember watching  the “Flash Gordon” black and white reruns (I am too young to have seen when it was in the movie theatres) the film cameras zoomed in on them to make them look like dragons on  the planets Mongo and Mars.

Marie was not feeling up to a beach day so for a while we browsed the shops on the pier then headed back on board.

Is that St. Thomas? I saw those mini dragon looking creatures walking around the sidewalk area of the port area in St. Thomas in November.

Bill, thanks for the photo — sorry I didn’t pose for you, lol!  Captain Rick is one of my very favorite Captains.  I was so glad to see him honored yesterday!

I hope you enjoyed Hairspray as much as I did (saw it the first night).  Last night I saw 1977, the Ice Show.  Also very good. All the shows so far have beenexcellent!

Agree re Capt. Rick! Great guy! We were onboard last week. We did not see Hairspray this last time as we have seen it before on a Royal ship.Because there was a rain out one night for HIRO they had to make up the performances and did not do “Aquanation” (the water show where reservations are not required.) We saw HIRO, FLIGHT, 1977 and ice skate 2.0 (no reservations for that one needed.) We also saw the. comedians on board doing the adult comedy shows in The Attic - Simeon Kirkiles and Steve McGrew. We laughed so much we went a second time!

  5. As of today on Symphony Jenn will be Diamond / Diamond Plus lounge. The woman who was there is heading to another ship - I do not  know which one. When Jackie in SL begins her vacation Jenn will join Rahul in the Suites Lounge.  I do not know who will then be in the D lounge. SL always has 2 concierges and D / DPlus lounge 1. When Jackie comes back from her vacation she will go to the D/D Plus lounge. Rahul told me on Symphony there is a rotation of 4 concierges.

Hi Sherri! Thanks so much for keeping this spreadsheet - awesome! We were on Symphony beginning of January. D Lounge Concierge was Ooma. Worst concierge ever! You show Jacque Yabut and Rahul Baruha on your spreadsheet. Did one of them replace her? Thinking of rebooking in a couple of weeks and don't want Symphony if I have to deal with her :( so hope your list is current (like this week! :) )

Jackie and Rahul are in SL on Symphony. I will find out who is supposed to replace Jackie when she goes on vacation. We really dealt with Rahul more pre snd during the cruise. Both wonderful.

Nick. We have always had Lobster in the CK on Lobster night. It’s often prepared in a different way but has been awesome. They will even bring the tails just as in MDR if you ask.

When I saw Nick and Barb this morning in CK at breakfast I told them I had read his mdr lobster night experience. And I told them the preparation of the lobster is not just in the shell but pieced and in an exquisite sauce. - Cheryl
