After the last redo our roll call on Symphony for Jan. 12 2019 sailing was gone. I contacted CC and they were able to redo some of the posts but not completely. We have 14 CC members. Egads. I think a lot of people just gave up.

I'm wondering about Feb 15th sailing as well. I don't see great things about Simona but not sure how long CD's actually stay on. seems she may be coming off after being on since November....
I have been on three Jewel cruises with Simona and I think she is terrific. Very personable and she speaks multiple languages.

Maybe tossing on a long sleeve shirt for the ride would help. Maybe pants and long sleeve for a younger rider. I felt like i had to concentrate on leaning back so as not to hit head.
I am on Symphony next week. I think I will pack a long sleeve shirt and light-weight long pants.

Really, you have to do it. I am claustrophobic and doing it was scary, I have the shirt that says I survived The Ultimate Abyss🤪😳If you keep your elbows in and hold on the way they tell you it will be good. I didn’t do the water slides because of the water in the face, closed in feeling. Anyway, we loved Harmony in April!
Where on the ship did you buy the shirt?

I am so excited to see royal up is a possibility. Our cruise isnt until March 2020 on Harmony of the Seas but hoping we are offered the opportunity to royal up. We always book an ocean view balcony would love to upgrade to a junior suite or Grand Suite.
going from inside, OV or balcony to JS or higher you do not get double C and A points on the bid up program.

Is the policy two bottles of wine per person?
Policy is per stateroom, no matter how many nights.
-
Are staterooms being held for the bid up program? People have reported getting their paid for upgrade even though their cruise was showing sold out in certain category rooms.
-
Wine yes. And bring with you in carry on bag. Otherwise your checked in luggage may be held until you go to the holding area and open it.

Curious, did they offer you Coastal Kitchen once you got onboard? If so, how? I see no where to book it prior to boarding. We have a JS on the 2/2/19 sail date.
Once you are on board you can go to the host stand at Coastal Kitchen on deck 17 aft elevators to make your dinner reservations. There will be someone there on boarding day from noon-1:30 as Coastal Kitchen is open for lunch for cruisers in Grande Suites and larger and Pinnacle members. If you board after they are closed they will reopen for dinner at 5:30. You may be able to make your Coastal Kitchen dinner reservations for the entire cruise.

Just finished book Liberty of the Seas, ONLINE! No glitches, snafus, errors or disconnects. I know, hard to believe. It worked....Now I have to hope the IT folks do not lose the reservation.
Nice it all worked for you.

Really, no smoking on ships for the entire cruise. Wonder what smokers do to survive.
Oz - indoors only. Casino and if the ships have there have other indoor smoking facilities (like some Royal ships have the Connoisseur club.)

That has been Royal's policy for cruises originating in the UK and Australia.
In Australia it is government regulation which Royal must adhere to.

What updates you looking for. SL is for Suites and Pinnacles and DL is for Diamond and Diamond Plus. Been the same for 2 1/2 years.
i believe wolfganghowell was asking about names - not the lounges themselves.

Not that much for a taxi to the Pan American Pier. We like to stay at the Renaissance La Concha in Condado area. Nice property, on the beach, beautiful pools.

The waitstaff seem to be the ones to remind us about giving a high rating. We have had waiters who deserve great ratings....and others who don't. I take photos of waiters - and others - with name tags - so I can look at pictures with names when when I am doing the surveys so I do not forget who to give a shout out to. I do not answer yes on the survey as when I am doing my added comments I do not want whoever is reading to think I am doing it because I was asked.

I agree - glitch. But you can post here once you are onboard or after the cruise and let us know. Enjoy your cruise!

Do they punch Harmony Seapass cards for your laynard? Or do you have to keep them in plastic sleeves? Trying to figure out what's the best thing to do for out large group. Laynards or WOW bands. I would love some opinions on both. Thank you! 🙂
You can get your seapass hole punched at guest services. I keep mine in plastic sleeve which I then put in my bag. no hole punch. I also have WOW band from previous cruises. I do not know what the cost is to purchase a Wow band as we have from previous suite stays.

This is just so sad.
-
My offers are all over the place - different stateroom offers. Seems no rhyme or reason. And when I have asked been told marketing decisions. So I pass the ones I do not want /cannot take.

Just came off of back to back cruises on the Symphony. Both weeks the Suite/Pinnacle party was held on the helipad for sail away. On the Dec. 1st cruise the party was held as we sailed away from San Juan and last week it was held when we sailed away from St. Thomas. Hope this info helps!
thank you!

I have not been on the Symphony, but on the other ships when I’ve been in a grand suite the suite party was on day 2.
Thank you for taking the time to reply. I had a “sail in” suites party on a European cruise. Hope I can get an answer for this Symphony iten.
What is the standard tip for the bartender in the D lounge?
in Royal Caribbean International

I carry singles as does my husband so we can cash tip our lounge servers. We give at least 2 dollars per drink nightly as on the ships with many servers - and crowded lounges, we may not have the same person each night.
