  1. Agreed, thanks to all the recent live reviewers!!
  2. I would love to see some other islands included in the US sailings. 🙂
  3. Is there a website for Nahoch Kay to book thru? We have reservations with Maya Chan for this coming September, but may want to swap. EDIT: Nevermind, I found it!
  4. I have a 7 day Ocho Rios/GC on her from PC booked now for April 2025. I can't wait to try something "new" from Carnival. The ship looks beautiful.
  5. We are trying MSC (as well as NCL) to swap things up and keep things "fresh" on our favorite cruiseline. But who knows....MSC may become our favorite after we try them! The YC is pretty darn appealing, I can't wait to see how that turns out to be!
  6. Ummmm......ummmmm.....I plead the 5th? 😏 We have decided to branch out and try a few new lines to keep things "fresh" for us. We noticed on our last cruise that we have become a bit to....what's the word I am trying to think of....crud I can't think of it. Basically, things are not as "wow! check it out! something we havent done before!" for us anymore, but I don't want to get bored with Carnival, so we are swapping things up a bit.
  7. Thanks for doing this review! I sail my first MSC cruise in August and can't wait to try something different from my usual cruises!
  8. Thank you for doing this review, I have been looking forward to your thoughts since we sail Seaside in August for our first non-Carnival cruise. I especially appreciate the dailies/whatever MSC calls them!
  9. Thank you!! I joined the roll call right before I posted here. 🙂 I was excited to see a roll call, a lot of my recent cruises have not had active ones! Yes, that is the itinerary. I can’t wait for 2 “new” ports for us! I joined right before posting on here. Was just excited and wanted to let it out a little bit. 🙂
  10. DH and I had planned to branch out and try NCL in March 2025 (I book my cruises wayyyy in advance), BUT I decided to swap one of our sailings to an NCL sailing THIS November! I saw a sailing on the Escape from Port Canaveral (love sailing from there) that goes to Tortola (new-to-us port!) that really intrigued me, so I took the plunge....and now I am so excited! I even splurged since it is our anniversary sailing and booked us a Haven aft penthouse suite....that looks amazing! If any of you are onboard the 11/25/23 sailing, I will see you there!
  11. We love Alchemy, but the location on MG/Celebration is TIGHT!!! Fortune Teller is a great place to camp out....we worked our way thru the menu and it has lots of seating. Loved it!!
  12. 1. Layout is the same, other than a few different bars and Emirl's (however you spell it) being in a different spot. 2. Alchemy is in the same spot. 3. I believe it was Brass Magnolia and Fortune Teller in those areas, and I actually much preferred them over the others on Celebration! 4. Yes, same locations.
  13. Ah, I love your reviews!!! You are part of why I’m FINALLY branching out and trying NCL! I can’t wait to read this one 🙂
  14. "Giant strawberry Daiquiri or DOOM"......love it. Not that you felt so bad, but the drink name made me LOL.
  15. I will add Teppenyaki to the "must do" list I have started. We love Japanese food! Thanks for the tip! Wow, I wasn't expecting to hear they re more casual....if DH and I like them, I may have to have my mom try sailing with them too! She's not big on having to dress up for dinner, so she may really enjoy NCL!
  16. Oh, I am so looking foward to this!! I have 2 years before we try out NCL on the Getaway, in the Haven, and I am soaking up all the info/reviews/photos I can!
  17. I will make sure to read those threads, thank you! And thanks for all the info about customizing....I will make sure to try crabcakes benedict, that sounds right up my alley! Wonderful information, thank you! And thanks for posting those menus!
  18. Mine is usually pretty quick, maybe a few hours at the latest.
