"The Gonnies" Movie was filmed in Astoria, Oregon, also used from scences from that beach. Astoria is not far from the beach, we have been to both places. Went there after a 12 night Pacific Coastal Cruise and 7 Night Alaska Cruise.......Rented a car and drove to Oregon from Vancouver, flew home to NJ from Portland. We stayed at Bella's House 4 nights. I don't read that closely the reviews from known Royal Cheerleader's, they tend to leave out the bad. Don't ask me who are the cheerleader's are on here either, because you know who you are. Only the true cheerleader's would continue to quote me time after time on some on my opinions. Otherwise you would just read my posts and move on. Well anyway back to the reviews, I rather read reviews from first timer cruisers on Royal. They tend to be more truthful. But you are correct I don't read EVERY review, because I'm just not sitting here 24/7 reading reviews.

Same thing happened to me, Put in for a refund 37 days ago for a cash refund, told it would be 10 days......so 27 days later I inquire again and they say sorry it was put in incorrectly as a FCC.......that's BS. I said cash refund to the agent at Royal. about 6 times while on the call.

Funny how easy it is giving Royal Money but how difficult it is for them to give money back. Why is that? I thought you had received some back earlier and was just awaiting the rest of it?

No fear, I have all the vaccines and one booster . Just don't think the value is there right now on the ships. Cutbacks on provisions and service are still lacking. Reading to many complains on people's reviews when they get back from their cruises right now and ever since the start-up. We can wait to cruise again, in the mean time land vacations.

No one has go on a cruise to see who are the cheerleaders. It's fine though if that is what people want to be. I rather look at things with eyes wide open.
