  1. I always think those sand art guys are just showing pre recorded video and really not doing any real drawing in the sand when I see guys doing stuff like this. Just can't believe they can do pictures like this so fast like they appear to do. I would have to be just behind them up on stage to believe they are really doing pictures like this so fast.
  2. Pretty unusual isn't it to start in Vancouver and end in Seattle isn't it?
  3. The food is from Tonight our first Day in Southport, NC......................food picture was in there to let you know I can't get full bloom pics of the Iris because we are in Southport for 2 weeks myself, but hopefully our sitter at our house can get us some pictures if they get in full bloom before we get home. The one food picture was a huge piece of Flounder, other dish was Fan tail shrimp, both were excellent.
  4. We have a lot more iris at the back of our house in the Memorial Garden with the 2 peach trees we planted when we first moved to Virginia. Took a picture this morning of the Iris before we left for our 2 week vacation in Southport, NC. Hopefully I can get our house/cat sitter to take some more pictures in 7 to 10 days from now when all the Iris are in Full bloom. Here are some pictures from our dinner tonight at "The Frying Pan" in Southport, NC. This is a a picture from looking out from the Restaurant.
  5. Probably cause always planted people are picked in the end so the show looks good and makes you think it's really working.
  6. Maybe you will get to see a Shohei homerun, he hit one tonight in the 1st inning. Think I would go for the Lobster Roll and Smash Burger for starters.
  7. We were on that sailing, what was weird some mornings they didn't either bother to slide our sea pass cards.
  8. So when are they posting the new update for this saiing which is suppose to be today?? Below is the latest update on Royal's site for the sailing on the 26th........nothing posted there on the 25th or 26th? Travel Update - Radiance of the Seas Last Updated April 23, 2024 - 5:00PM EDT Radiance of the Seas® sailing on Friday, April 26, 2024 from Vancouver We’re excited to welcome you onboard Radiance of the Seas® for our April 26, 2024 sailing! We have an important update. Unfortunately, we’re having technical issues on a current sailing of Radiance of the Seas® resulting in slower speed. Our team is hard at work, and we expect to complete all repairs on time for your sailing. We will keep you informed every step of the way and will provide another update on April 25th. Thank you for your patience and understanding. We can’t wait to welcome you onboard.
  9. Sounds like a mess either way this turns out. Feel sorry for the people traveling cross country for what might be or not be for their upcoming cruise. Their first port(Juneau) is on Sunday the 28th, High temperature of 46 degrees and showers 😞
  10. Just looked at your menu for CK you had on the app(pulled up your sailing), why no Rib Eye in CK ? I'm thinking can't you sometimes even get a good Grilled New York Sirloin in the Windjammer
  11. Doesn't work that way here in Virginia where we live, still have chances for frost for 3 more weeks, Mid May before we can plant here. We are at 2300 ft above sea level here.
  12. I was talking about the cruise you got off of in September 2023, not a recent cruise you took in April 2024. Wasn't talking about mask requirements either, just wondered what ship you got off of where you got covid.
  13. You would think by now all Royal's ship would be using that, when they started this 4 years ago........If not why isn't it fleetwide by now,
  14. Be careful with that camera, there could be some of these out there. Good Luck on your crossing!
  15. https://www.cruisecritic.com/news/royal-caribbean-to-roll-out-facial-recognition-technology-for-disembarkation-in-select-ports That's why when you get on and off the ship now, the guy behind the podium says things like Welcome back Jim, Welcome back Donna!........no dings.
  16. Over Night in Portland would be cool while they make repairs. Could check out places where Twilight was filmed.
  17. Lots of older people on these kind of cruises. It's bound to happen. Better to happen now then 4 or 5 days from now when you are half way. Are you heading back to Bermuda? If they get behind time wise, just have to cancel one of your ports later at the end of your cruise to make up the time.
