  1. Think I would have hopped on Celebrity Eclipse right in FLL on November 7th for the ABC's islands on the 9 Nighter.
  2. Probably because there is more and more Diamond Members and the lounges just can't handle the number of people now.
  3. We did that before heading north from Bayonne to Greenland on Jewel of the Seas last month. Sailed across the Hudson right by the Stature of Liberty, and docked in Manhattan and left the next night around 8pm for Greenland. Might want to ask that question to the Captain if they have one of those sessions where you can ask questions onboard.
  4. Would have been nice if you guys could have had an overnight in Manhattan, guess Royal didn't want to flip the bill for docking spot. Curious was the casino onboard open last night and today?
  5. Then how come their original time was leaving at 5pm on the 14th and arriving in Bermuda on the 16th at 9am, Isn't that like 40 hours to get there? Just not sure what Royal is thinking for this cruise? Pretty much left with no options?
  6. They would need 2 days to get to Bermuda and 2 days to return, leaves little or no time in Bermuda. Their cruise is suppose to return to Bayonne at 7am on the 19th. They are still just sitting there by the bridge in Bayonne. They have all ready lost 19 hours of sailing time. Don't think they are going to get to Bermuda. Original dates were October 14th to October 19th. ( 5 night cruise)
  7. What's even stranger is that Carnival Magic and Norwegian Joy are sailing and located now between NY and Bermuda. So why didn't Liberty sail through it? Ship issue, engine etc. what is the issue and why hasn't anyone onboard reported as to why they didn't sail to Bermuda yesterday?
  8. 15 ft waves 25 knt winds The issue is directly between NY and Bermuda, The Disney ship coming from Florida can skirt below the issue to Bermuda https://www.windy.com/-Waves-waves?waves,37.962,-67.368,4,m:eHead70
  9. Guess there was no where to dock in Manhattan for the overnight stay, that is where we docked for our delayed leaving for Greenland because of the weather on Jewel(mid September)
  10. Okay no more sponsoring, But I'm telling you the truth here in Virginia, not sure if it is just because of the area we live in with all the local cattle around here. Not sure if they buy local or not but we have never had a bad steak here and all our experiences at Texas Roadhouse have been great!
  11. Well said, just doesn't have the "Wow" factor at all.
  12. The good thing, you have 7 port stops on a 12 night cruise. So what the ship has to offer on sea days and evenings won't matter much to you. Just use those times to relax and rest up for the next ports.
  13. Still would amaze me that Royal can pull off a 9 month cruise all over the world without issues. Should be interesting. Hope it works out.
  14. You must live in a big city then or going to the wrong places, Just go to Texas Roadhouse and get a 20 oz Bone in Rib Eye for $28.99 , much better buy then anything on the ship.
  15. OMG and Cabo was an overnight stay there, wow now ports are very limited on that sailing, I bet people are upset? Seemed that itinerary was doomed from the start, things only got worse. 3 ports in 16 nights 😞
  16. Pretty much given up on watching hockey. When living in NJ our home team was the Philadelphia Flyers, they have had so many down years in a row lately it was just painful to watch them. Just doesn't interest me anymore. Baseball and Football are main interest here.
  17. Watching Phillies against the Braves in the playoffs and the other Baseball Playoffs games, who has time for hockey now?
