  1. We put trays and glasses out in the hallway when and ONLY when we see our cabin steward in the hallway. We know when he is there, it won't be no more then 10 or 15 minutes before they magically disappear. We would not put any out on the floor at say midnight, since no one would be around to pick them up in less room service is called upon near our cabin, most times if that is the case the room service crew member would pick them up when returning top the kitchen.
  2. On our cruise last month, saw people leaving walkers and electric scooters kept in hallway.
  3. Ship just came from Europe, might be left over sausage from over the pond. Where ever it came from it wasn't very good.
  4. We just got off Jewel, and no way could you put 4 pork sausage on an english muffin like that anymore. Not sure if it was just Jewel or fleet wise but the sausage now onboard are almost as thick as a hot dog and just a little shorter then a normal size hot dog. The sausage is just not as tasty as it it used to be, very little fat in the Pork sausage, never tried the chicken sausages they had onboard Jewel.
  5. Hope the give passengers options to cancel if their cruise doesn't go to the Israel ports, afterall that is what their cruises are all about.(those ports) be very upset otherwise, I think Royal understands that and will give their clients options.

  8. I'm doing much better now, just slight cough every now and then but My Wife seems to be having some kind of Covid rebound now so not exactly sure about what's going on with her now. From what I read, the rebound can sometimes happens and last maybe 2 or 3 days additional days. She is just sneezing like crazy. Getting Covid the last day of cruise(packing day) wasn't a big deal. We would mostly be in our cabin anyway. Only regret was we didn't get to use our 10 free drink coupons, up until day 14th we pretty much knocked out all those 10 drinks every day. lol Would have been nice meeting you and others on Radiance, we have done the Panama Canal Cruise before from San Diego to Tampa, with the chance to do Greenland from NJ we sure made the right decision switching. Enjoyed the Green Land Cruise alot!
  9. Enjoy the Panama Canal, we originally were on that cruise but switched to our Greenland Cruise in Mid September on Jewel.
  10. Done it the same way for years and worked everytime,just like others have been doing now. Not sure why you keep mentioning server,the servers don't write up the bills that go to each table,the manager does all billings. Yes in the end we got 2 meals for the price of one....but it was like pulling teeth. Shouldn't have been that difficult,after all he knew we prepaid for 1 meal and was using our BOGO for our dinner.
  11. The meal is hardly worth the discounted price let along the onboard price. Royals prices for Chops now are out of control. I can get 2 bone in rib eyes at our local Texas Roadhouse here in Virginia for the price of one on the cruise ship. that taste just as good as the ones on the cruise ship. Texas Road house are 20 Oz too compared to Royals 16 oz.
  12. @Momof3gurlz curious as to what the temps are like at all the ports you have been at at this time of the year?
  13. We did reserve for the day and time we wanted. We reserved ahead at the reduced rate for 1 person,then using our BOGO free.. So since the Manager at Gio's didn't know how to come back to the table with a zero bill he eventually just comped the whole meal without giving us any bill. But the way we looked at it I had all ready prepaid for one meal,so nothing was comped. We didn't get any refund at all,didn't think any refund was needed but we sure as heck never went back there to eat again on any of the last 13 nights of the cruise. Just wasn't interested with them again having issues as to how to produce a correct bill. I have no idea when you mention double dipping as to what you are talking about. We paid for 1 meal for 1 person and expected 1 meal for second person free just like the BOGO FREE coupon is meant for.
  14. Last 2 weeks in September on Jewel were terrible. Had to keep cabin door propped open with trash can entire 14 days to get any kind of internet in cabin and we were mid ship on deck 8 near centrum. Some people on our deck were sitting in the hallway's on floor with their lap tops.
  15. Not sure about Gio's but the Chops lunch and dinner menu are a little different. For one no Bone-In Ribeye on Chop's lunch menu.
  16. Yes, Got the Chops for the pre-booked lower price day and time we wanted from months before the cruise. Recieved a $0 bill at the table, NO adjusted higher bill at the table..............with the $0 bill we recieved we added onto that anadditional tip for outstanding service.
  17. Maybe because since you or others aren't quite understanding what happened I need to be more clear for you and others.
  18. Correct Gio's day 1 , but did tell him when we sat down. Waiter didn't work on the bill, all bill's were worked on by the manager. How would you think I show up with 2 person on a 1 person reservation and not mention to him we are using our BOGO free coupon. So it's pretty much understood wouldn't you think what we are doing? What more would you think I would have to do? Probably 75% in Gio's the first night were using the BOGO free coupons too. Didn't have to twist the Chops guy's arm for him to understand and he got it right?
