That’s ridiculous... I thought one of the many perks of paying for yacht club is to enjoy the freedom of dining whenever you want as a YC guest. Are they taking that away from us now ? So what happens if neither of those dining times works for you 😳😳

    You eat at the buffet.

I’m worried.  I have the Panorama booked for 5/2020.  Havana aft wrap.  I need back surgery September.  I’m sure I should recover by then BUT complications can happen.  Rather than cancelling this trip, I’d like to maybe push it out to maybe October.  Will I be able to do this?  I know I need to contact Carnival, I just like to know if anyone had to do this.  I really don’t want to cancel at all if I can help it.

    They will charge $50 pp.

How long does it take to get off the ship for a walk off in Fort Lauderdale? The ship says 7:00 so is this the time we can leave, or the time we get in, and can we make a 11:15 flight to Canada? Thanks for your help.

    Plenty of time.

We are sailing in January from Long Beach, but airfares seem cheapest and nonstop through LAX.  What is the best way to get from LAX to cruise port in Long Beach?  Do any hotels offer shuttle from LAX to Long Beach?  (We are flying in the Friday before).

No hotel will offer  rides from lax area to LGB it's too far.

Looks like you'll have to wait till 2022. Magnifica roundtrip from Seattle. That's very tentative but at least they are talking about it internally. 🤫

Scheduled ships in the North American market for 21/22 season in some capacity  = Seashore, Divina, Meraviglia, Magnifica, Armonia and Virtuosa. Going to be a busy time for MSC.
But as I caution with all things MSC, it stands for Most Surely Changes. 😀

And no, the res agents will have no idea about any of this. Only in high level discussions at this time.

Thanks Bret for the info i hope they do take the Seaside away from Miami.

In July we will be starting our cruises in Ft Lauderdale on the Caribbean Princess. (Assume pier 2)

What has been the experience in getting to the port via Uber? Any problem entering in a private auto?

Are  the fares similar to those offered by most hotels and motels. Also, any problems with availability?

Thanks in advance for your comments.

There are plenty of uber and lyft cars.

I’m looking at booking on the Star Princess out of LA February 2020.  Wondering if anyone has done this sailing?  Thoughts on the ship and specifically the weather.  My wife and I have cruised numerous times on Carnival, Holland and MSC.  This will be our first Princess cruise.  Again i’m Really trying to find information on the weather to and from the islands......we know the weather in Hawaii will be temperate.  Thanks all for you help.

Have taken this cruise twice and both times the first 2 days going and the last 2 days coming back very chilly and WINDY, they had to close the upper decks. No more Hawaii for us.
