  1. You can look at Websites for CVS and Walgreens and check their locations. Check Google Maps.
  2. No, we DIY-ed when we were there. But look around the board.
  3. FFL is Fairfield, Iowa. The PortMiami is 45 or so minutes from the Ft Lauderdale area, so no hotel in Ft Lauderdale is going to shuttle you to Miami. Where you stay depends a lot on when you arrive in FLL. Usually, transport later in the day gets more expensive, so people tend to stay in Ft Lauderdale, and shuttle or Uber/Lyft direct to the port the next day. There are dozens of threads here on hotels in both areas. But I would first look at what hotels the shuttles commonly recommended here (QLS, SAS, GO Shuttle, Jiffy Jeff) pick up at, then consider booking at one of those.
  4. To make sure the tour goes.
  5. In other words, you are paying for 4, instead of two.
  6. Agree...while you check on your Roll Call for someone to join you.
  7. Can't recommend Viator...many negative experiences here. They are a broker, they don't provide the service. Yes, their prices are good, but if you have an issue, it can be very difficult to reach someone. I speak from experience. The common recommendation here is to find a local, recommended vendor, and book direct.
  8. Seems to vary, but the many discussions on the topic seem to indicate about 4 or 5 months out.
  9. Puntarenas is covered on the Costa Rica board, here: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/120-costa-rica/
  10. If you read around the board, the shuttle comes up frequently. The hotels in the immediate airport area have a shuttle from the airport. One or two MIGHT shuttle you to the port. Many of the hotels downtown have shuttles to the port for a fee. No shuttles from the airport. There are MANY threads here on hotels.
  11. That seems awful high for Uber. Did you use the estimating feature on the website? Cab should be half that...Uber probably around $60
  12. What @euro cruiser said. Everybody knows who the tourists are. And Europeans have a wide variety of dress...some definitely look like Americans. You will be surprised how many US sports teams are represented on tee shirts in Europe. Just got back from 2 weeks in Amsterdam and France. As we walked and trained everywhere, I wore white tennis shoes. No problem at all. The differences are less and less every time I go to Europe.
  13. The embarking times are usually the same no matter what time the ship sails. Princess will start around noon.
  14. Conversely there are many here who couldn't say a good word about HAL if their life depended upon it, yet they are 4 or 5 star Mariners, have difficulty with any changes at all, and keep booking more cruises on HAL...
  15. For others reading this, note this flight was DOMESTIC. Much faster process getting through the airport, as opposed to someone flying to the US.
  16. If you do a Google Maps search for " Copenhagen Cruise Terminal ", you will see the Oceankaj docks. You will be at one of those 3.
  17. Depends on your needs. Number of devices doesn't matter.
  18. We did something similar a number of years ago, with Sister-in-law getting in about 2.5 hours prior to us. She had coffee outside Customs somewhere, and was there waiting for our arrival.
  19. Given the recent fishery restrictions, I wouldn't expect anything "fresh" in Alaska. Then there are food regulations about storage of proteins. And the size of the ship vs. required amounts.
  20. It was announced yesterday, in the long thread on the 2025 Alaska schedule.
  21. More likely you will have to split cabs. 6 people shouldn't be a problem, but adding the luggage probably will be.
