    I can see a plan where you get one/two extra point(s) when you book a specific cruise. Of course, this would only be available when bookings were very low on a particular cruise.

    Tipping thread— they are always nice reading. only thing I know for sure is if the cruise line explained exactly where every dollar of gratuity was distributed, the same people would be calling foul. Tip or don’t- I don’t care what you actually I, but please stop bragging about it.

    When we bid, we bid $6 more than min. But in general, we buy the room level we want. BTW: RCL leaves bidding for staterooms available even when they quite sure that the rooms are going to sail full. It’s a way to gauge how much people will pay.

    Princess is nice. Many like MSC. These lines have prices in line with Royal.

    This is when you move on to try other cruise lines. We’ve done it. It works out great as you get to try something new.

    Drink voucher expires at the end of the day… the new ones start at the beginning of the day. $2 bills are fine so are loonies and toonies.

    Recently I have had to use all combinations of potential discounts to find the lowest prices.

    Prices will be lower on the cruises we can't sail and prices will be higher on the one we can sail. Reality 101.

    Been a few times, we've never been impressed. Two peach there cone. Don't go anymore.

    As with all tipping, do whatever you feel like doing. Some will give zero and some will give $5 a drink.

    For those that are looking for a travel agent, talk to fellow passengers on your next cruise.

    Unstated advantage: You can have a nice conversation with a NextCruise staff member and that staff member will care a little about the conversation. Always good to have someone caring.

    Like the store 7-11. That's the percentage I get from my travel agent in perks and cash. (Actually more at times) I try not to ask questions on his days off, but he always answers. Someone else from the agency answers when he's on vacation. Search and interview to find a good one.

    It’s been suggested that it does Help those on 7 night and longer cruises.

    We used emed tests a few times, but after the second nonworking test we changed teams. We also always have a backup plan or two.
