  1. Bob's picture is exactly what we experienced in Barcelona. Took a cab from our hotel and there was no traffic at the port. For disembarking we were staying in Barcelona a day after the cruise so we waited until the last possible minute to get off the ship. We paid extra for that I believe but when we got off our luggage was there and easy to find. Barcelona was prob the easiest embarking/disembarking we have done.

  2. We have been to all of these ports except for Mykonos and Ephesus. We liked Rome much better then Venice. In my opinion if you are focused on Greece as long as Santorini is in the mix you can't go wrong. That place was amazing! I will say Dubrovnik was really awesome too bc it was somewhere totally different. You can't go wrong with either of these itineraries. Sorry that wasn't much help, good luck choosing!

  3. I am not trying to be rude or gross, but: Ladies, how are the bathrooms?? The deal breaker for me in any situation is an unclean restroom, because, well, i'm a girl.

So for any ladies who have been to Sancho's lately, I am about to book for Aug., but I need to know if the restrooms are clean and numerous. And close by the pool area.

    Thanks, a Germophobe.

I was there a few weeks ago. The bathrooms are near the pool. Definitely wear flip flops into the bathroom just bc the floor is wet. It's a small bathroom with 2 stalls and a sink. It's not necessarily what I would call dirty but it's wet from peoples bathing suits I guess and hot/humid in there bc the door opens to the outside.

  4. We will be in St Thomas from 8-5 and doing an excursion from 8:30-12. Is there time to go downtown to shop a bit before having to be back on board? I'm not sure how far the ship socks from the shopping area. Any help would be appreciated!

  5. You are going to good places! Here is what we have done at them:

Roatan: a catamaran/snorkel excursion. Not the best catamaran we have done

but after we hung at the Fat Tuesdays or whatever it was at the port.

That was with Carnival however, so RCI May dock somewhere else.

    Belize: cave tubing

Cozumel (been there 3 times): a snorkeling excursion and we saw a lot of good

sea life. 2nd time a dune buggy island tour, 3rd time went to Mr

Sanchos Beach Resort for the day. We've enjoyed each time in

    Cozumel

Costa Maya: a mini boat excursion where you drive your own mini boats then

snorkel. We love mini boats so this was enjoyable.

Grand Cayman: island tour and turtle farm.

Falmouth: we used Courtney Taylor Tours. Excellent day! Went to the blue irie

Hole. One of the best things we have done on a cruise. I

recommend this tour company for whatever you choose to do.

Labadee: rented a private over the water cabana at Nellies Beach

  6. I'm glad I read this because it has put me back in check. I'm always anal about locking things up however this past trip we just took we were very complacent and I know there were days I left my iPhone out. Very fortunate nothing happened but will be paying attention again here on out. Sorry this happened to you!

  7. We prefer RCI now instead of CCL. The ships seem much easier to navigate and get around. With CCL I remember always having to walk down hallways to get places. We also like the set up of RCI's buffet (windjammer) better then CCL. We always had to wait in a long line where RCI you can walk up to the stations. As far as activities my step daughter was just with us on her first RCI cruise and she thinks there is more on CCL to "keep busy" as far as trivia and games. We don't care about that so we never noticed but the kids always play that stuff. Food is a toss up. Pretty much the same in my opinion. We enjoyed CCL but I don't foresee us ever going back.
