  1. We were just in cozumel last week. We have been there many times but 1st time docking at International Pier. This pharmacy didn't have anything I was looking to buy that I have bought before in Mexico. And things were priced higher in comparison to other stores.

  2. We did the AI at Mr Sanchos last week and loved it. We did the romance VIP package so we could have a cabana. We had the best server ever named Gabriel. He was awesome! The beach and pool were nice. We did the banana boat and the fish spa while there. I'd recommend Mr Sanchos.

  3. We used Courtney Taylor just last week to go to the Blue Hole and for lunch. We did not have Courtney as our guide and was a tad disappointed in that since I've read such great things. But it was a great day. The Blue Hole is beyond amazing! So glad we went there. We had Samantha along on our tour and she was nothing but nice and pleasant. Definitely would recommend this company!

  4. YES! We were just there last week and I'm so glad we took shoes. It was very slippery and it down poured while we were there. Didn't much matter because we were wet but it became even more slippy. And muddy. The shoes ended up packed with mud at the end. Great place to visit!!!

  5. We just returned this past weekend from the Oasis. I had the $55 a day package and my husband had the beer package $40 a day. I know he came out ahead but I'm pretty sure I didn't meet the price I paid. I was breaking even until probably mid week and then I was just over the drinks. I felt like I was drinking to drink which is ok but by Thursday and Friday I didn't really use it at all. However, I enjoyed being able to get bottled water. As far as signing we had to sign about 95% of the time.

  6. I totally agree with everything the above posters said. It's all about the ports! On these itineraries you aren't on the ship as much as a caribbean cruise. We did western and eastern Mediteranean and both were wonderful. We loved the ship for the western but didn't enjoy the ship as much on the eastern but we really didn't care because you are off the ship for so long and almost everyday. I will say though Santorini is now our favorite spot we have been. Good luck choosing but Europe is definitely the best choice!

  7. We took a private taxi from that area to the port and paid about 90 euros. We did not want to deal with dragging our luggage around on the public transportation and to the taxi stop. The private taxi dropped us off right at the pier and the cruise line took our bags right from the taxi. I would say it took 20-30 min. To get to the pier because sometimes it's a slow move on the small canals due to all the gondolas and other boats.

  8. We did a snorkeling excursion in Cozumel and it was really a good spot. We saw lots of fish and unique creatures that I have no clue what they all were. We also did a dune buggy excursion before that was an island tour but you drove your own dune buggy. It was cool as well. We are going to Cozumel on our upcoming cruise and going to Mr Sanchos after reading all of the great reviews. Good luck picking!

  9. I'm so glad I saw this thread because I wouldn't have even known about the sale. I booked 2 cruises today for summer of 2015 and Jan of 2016 and saved $1500 between the 2. It was strange that the 2nd person actually ended up being cheaper then our 3rd person in a suite we booked. But good deal!!!

  10. We rode the donkeys up and back down. Yes, you may brush up against the wall so be prepared. My leg did brush up on it and I was not mad at all. The donkeys do trot faster I think on the way down and I was more worried about my husband because he is 6 ft 4. So he is very tall and his whole body was kind of above the wall so I was worried he was going to be bucked off. But when we travel it is all about the experience for us. We enjoyed riding the donkeys because it is something we don't get to do where we live. We enjoyed it.

  11. I think you will definitely be able to do all of that in 6 hours. We tried to finish the day up in Corfu Town but the lots were full. I didn't see parking garages only lots but they were full by the time we got there. Most of the reviews I read prior to our trip people didn't seem to have a problem with parking so maybe it was a fluke the day we were there.

  12. We also rented a car from Sunrise and had that reservation in advance. We rented a jeep just to have the top off while driving around. There is also a car rental place called Royal I believe inside the cruise terminal. We drove to Palaiokastrista and checked out he views and monestary. After that we just drove around the island some and checked out some of the small towns. We drove to Old Town but couldn't find parking. We were kind of bummed about that but it seemed like such a hassle and would've had to park very far away. So we went back to a bakery we passed earlier in the day called Emeral Bakery. It was amazing! Cheap prices and some of the best tasting baked goods I have ever had.

  13. We rode the donkeys to the top in Fira then rented an ATV and drove to Oia. It was a nice easy drive on an ATV. A car would be the same and it's a simple drive. With the ATV you could kind of park it anywhere. Not so sure about the cars but I think it's the same or they have parking lots in a few spots in Oia. We then drove around other parts of the island and saw windmills and a black beach when the sand was black and glittery. Then took some time in Fira before going back to the ship. In my opinion doing Santorini on your own is the way to go. It's an easy place to do that. Enjoy!
