  1. I have only read the live reviews and never posted one so i am going to try. Flew into EWR with no issues. In fact, I started worrying it was going to easy. Flights were early, no baggage lost. The airport is a little tricky at catching the hotel shuttles but the people were helpful. We are staying at The Country Inn on International. Great location to spend a few hours before the cruise. We were meeting up with friends from all over the US so they were coming in at different times. The hotel is no frills, clean, and staff have been friendly. We opted for the shuttle service at 17.50 each. It would have been cheaper for Uber or a little less for taxis but I am all about simple. Times are set at 10, 11, or 12. With a 11 check in we chose the 10. There is an large outlet mall very nearby, walking distance with a crosswalk. It had plenty of to chose from to eat. A Ruby Tuesdays is beside the hotel. The Embassy Suite is next to us and a couple more a few yards away. This was good enough for our 18 hour pre-cruise. There are 10 of us for reference. I will let you know how embarkation goes later today.
  2. We just got done with On Point. Could not have been easier. We clicked on the Zoom link that was emailed (another one today as a reminder), at 4p a person came on and introduced himself. Made sure it was working and we could hear, and went right to it. We did it together using an ipad and it was quick. Right at 15mins we showed him the results and he explained how we would get the results. Within 10mins of finishing the call an email was sent. Fast, and easy. And we were both negative.
  3. I take the On Point test in 1.5 hours. I already had the Zoom app on my phone because we use it at work. I will report how it goes in a little while. 🤞
  4. @Jim_Iain Thank you for the info. We usually use the app often on other lines but seeing how Celebrity is with IT, I wondered if it would be of any help.
  5. Most have iphones. We told the one couple that doesn’t we will put post it’s on their door. JK Glad to know that will work with no issues.
  6. A little update: we are traveling with 8 others. No one else but us felt comfortable using an online test. One couple just paid Walgreens for the rapid test and was told it could take 24hr to get the email. I don’t know if that is usual or not but considering we are boarding a plane in less than 24hrs that is making them very nervous. Another plus for telehealth services.
  7. We are sailing on Summit this Sunday and wondering what all can we do with the app that is not noticeable. I realize it can open the door, deck plans, calendar, but can we use it to text other passengers on the ship. Or is there something you use it for that I need to know. Thank you in advance.
  8. If I may add, I didn’t load on my tablet when I made the appointment but did yesterday (I test tomorrow). You get a chance to test the Zoom app after you download so that is one less worry day of. If you have extra test boxes I also suggest you do a practice run. I watched the IHealth video and now I am ready for tomorrow. I will be using On Point. I will report back after it is completed.
  9. @Jim_IainI do agree with you. Time will tell. @FrannyK I hope so also. Looking at the Bermuda webcam and seeing NCL Joy and it’s 5000 capacity next to the Summit, I hope both have lower numbers.

  11. @itsanitaThank you. I feel more at ease with taking this test from all the info. There will be 2 of us taking it and I am planning on using my tablet. I will have scissors, DL, insurance cards, confirmations and the portal info ready.

CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS I am guessing 80/20 ratio but that is a guess. I know before they went sold out, there were inside/outside cabins left then the next day it was gone. They could have sold the group of cabins 🤷🏻‍♀️ At this point passing the Covid test is my main focus being so close. They need to call it a stress test.
  15. Thank you so much for the update. We are going to use them Friday at 4p. As I have 18 government provided test it only made sense to us. We practiced Monday with a box so I think we are ready.

  17. We are going on the 7/17 cruise also and 2/10 got theirs on Saturday and the rest got it early in the morning before we were even up. We are 10 for 10, Wahoo!
  18. I just looked under our Summit Loyalty and Suites and did not see the boarding day lunch. Does that mean our cruise is not offering it for concierge level?
  19. I will be using On Point this Friday. We have to work Friday and have a 6am flight on Saturday. I couldn’t stress about trying to get tested somewhere with that little bit of time. There are 3 things that are already stressing this trip before it even starts: negative results, flights, the Bermuda TA. I remember when planning for a vacation was half the fun.
  20. We were able to get the Concierge category for 30.00 total more, so we did it.
  21. Just signed up for the On Point video testing. We will use our own tests, since we have 18 of them at home , and they will send a certificate at the end. The cost for 2 was $30.00, and we could schedule when it was convenient for us.
  22. I emailed the Bermuda goverment from the processing email after submitting with my reference number.
