  1. Yes Emerald offers it. I have it reserved on our upcoming trip. It’s on the website under extras and then food and beverage experiences.
  2. We are 22 days out. I haven’t gotten the email yet but I saw they charged my cc for our wristbands on Wednesday. I will suspect it will be any day now for the email.
  3. Unless the company offers a guarantee or they will fly you to the next port. The company we always use offers that guarantee as they outsource to local tour guides. Never had a bad excursion or one that is even close to on board time getting back. On our upcoming excursion there are only 6 of us and all from our ship. The tour operator already emailed me and asked if we would like still or water with gas in the van. Never had that happen so I believe another great excursion ahead.
  4. @FamilyAtSea.travel I agree and I don’t use my TA for everything. I have had very good luck using chat, more so than calling CS. Luck of the draw. You offered a very good lesson at watching your travel summary. No one watching out for my money better than me. Well, probably my DH is better than me. 😂 🛍️
  5. This happened to us in February. We booked regular veranda on deck 10 aft on Emerald through my TA. Only 2 cabins available side by side on 10 was by the elevators and opening of the hall. Would have been okay but 2 cabins opened up the next day, just 3 away and more aft. My TA didn’t even tell me the problems he was having until it was done. When he called Princess as moving my SIL was not a problem but moving my cabin caused it to go from BD cabin to price as a B2 (on deck plans it is not even close to the B2) and upped my price by 1500. He had to talk to 2 supervisors to get them to price it correctly. It was a Princess pricing glitch and was corrected evidently (after 45mins) My TA stated that on all lines you have to watch pricing very closely as they have caught a lot of issues the last few years.
  6. We are boarding in less than 30 days so trying to get my ducks in a row for the embarkation. Do we go to the buffet area to make the Planks and Steamers reservations? I thought we couldn’t make reservations ahead of standing in line waiting on a table. Is that the same for the pub? BTW: Emerald
  7. When we used EZ check years ago, it was $25/per person charge not per bag. Because of my FFY status the cruise line put both bags in my name since I get 2 free with the airlines and only charged me 25. We will be using EZ Check again in June, is that not the case anymore or maybe the cruise line made a mistake the first time. (It wasn’t Princess)
  8. Thank you for the report. We are on Emerald in 30 days. And I booked a UBD for St Kitts so I love the background. Beautiful pictures and I love see the menus.
  9. wasn’t looking at all of Dublin but around the port area and Marriotts. All I asked was if there was something going on there. It’s been resolved.
  10. Maybe. it’s refundable until the day before. I will keep watching Marriott as that is my preferred business hotel. What was different was when I was checking CPH Marriotts for locations, they did state as expected, rate not available. Dublin had most sold out and a few with prices. It surprised me as we have been left high and dry because of an event where people booked months in advance. At least either case, nothing is lost.

  12. I was able to book the Cassidy Hotel online. They had a 3 days minimum for that week only but on chat they let me reserve. The hotels that showed 6/18/25 dates many were either sold out or 3 day minimum. If something is happening big in a city they usually open those dates ahead. i have a lot of Marriott and Hilton points and Marriott stated only hotel available was not near city center. They didn’t know why.

  14. Finally, I was able to book our first SS as we were booked this June but had to cancel earlier this year. We picked this cruise because it seemed like something we would enjoy and I love the idea of a smaller ship. River cruises are our favorite vacations now and it seems to be somewhat close. We have traveled on Regent a few time and enjoyed them. We did pick the p2p as we will use ffy for business class. Looking at the itinerary, will we see a lot of wildlife? Anything we should know about the Wind? With this itinerary will we be able to use the veranda in June and not freeze. For those that have done an expedition cruise and regular SS cruise, which is your preference? We have not done an expedition on any line but have taken Zodiac tours in places and enjoyed them. I hope I didn’t sound too much like a newbie.
  15. Okay, I was over this but I stand by Dog. I called customer service after booking and they sent me to the casino desk. I told CS I didn’t know that was a casino offer. She told me by the code she saw it was. There was no code or mention of this on my summary. The casino desk told me I was good to go and never stated anything other wise. A co-worker talked to the same casino person, (I just handed over the phone to her) and she was able to book the offer. Still nothing said except we are both good to go and she had to have a guarantee mini. That was a lot of opportunity to let me know this was not a valid offer. This was Thursday around noon. They had showed the cruise sold out while we were talking which is why she booked with the desk. Now it’s Friday night and we get the email. Because CS (the number on the email to cancel or find out more information) didn’t know what was going on and told me because I am canceling, I will lose my deposit. Not what the email said. I read the email, didn’t matter. Supervisor knew nothing of this. I called 4 times to try and get someone that knew. Finally I emailed Jen and she called me within 15mins. She was super nice and apologetic. She told me she read the transcript of my call to CS and they were wrong. They did receive the information on how to handle the situation and they didn’t do their job. She asked if I wanted more time to think about it. She cancelled my reservation and sent me an invoice with the refund of the full amount. I have no problem with what happened. Yes it was a mistake, it wasn’t Dogs mistake, it wasn’t my mistake, or anyone else on our roll call.
  16. We will be joining you. Some cabana mini suites available. Credit card was charged the 570.00 and Princess summary can be seen.🤷🏼‍♀️💃🏻

  18. That is why I contacted the chat feature, the rep changed it to one table for 6. Resolved and tables freed.
  19. We have 3 bookings linked together and all have premier. The app let me book Crown Grill for all 6 but not Sabatinni. We had to book separately for the other speciality credit. I used chat on the app and actually got an agent that was able to reserve all 6 using the credit on one reservation. It was quick and easy. For the one that thinks that was a waste of the agents time, it freed up 2 tables for others to reserve. The process took 10mins.
  20. Thanks.I just checked and our 6/8 is also showing. Looks pretty full. I thought I was going to have to wait at least 4 weeks out.
  21. We have linked bookings with others and all have premier. The app let us book one speciality for all of us, no charge but wouldn’t let us book another one except individually without charge. Good news, I got on chat and agent Mary, who was awesome, and booked us a table together without charging using all our speciality dinner credit. You might try chat on the app. I know it’s a hit and miss but that’s twice now they have been very helpful.
  22. It looks like the only downfall for us is the fact that we made most of our reservations in the aft dining room as our cabin is aft. That was very convenient. Not a deal breaker but it was nice to have all 3 available to choose from. I know we still have all three but if we want a particular one we will have to choose that type of dining. We are usually one to dine at a different time every night and not be traditional. c’est la vie.
