  1. @teh3505 And we will be sailing on 6/9. I will concur with tmi1230, and will be looking forward to your review.
  2. That is why I contacted the chat feature, the rep changed it to one table for 6. Resolved and tables freed.
  3. We have 3 bookings linked together and all have premier. The app let me book Crown Grill for all 6 but not Sabatinni. We had to book separately for the other speciality credit. I used chat on the app and actually got an agent that was able to reserve all 6 using the credit on one reservation. It was quick and easy. For the one that thinks that was a waste of the agents time, it freed up 2 tables for others to reserve. The process took 10mins.
  4. Thanks.I just checked and our 6/8 is also showing. Looks pretty full. I thought I was going to have to wait at least 4 weeks out.
  5. We have linked bookings with others and all have premier. The app let us book one speciality for all of us, no charge but wouldn’t let us book another one except individually without charge. Good news, I got on chat and agent Mary, who was awesome, and booked us a table together without charging using all our speciality dinner credit. You might try chat on the app. I know it’s a hit and miss but that’s twice now they have been very helpful.
  6. It looks like the only downfall for us is the fact that we made most of our reservations in the aft dining room as our cabin is aft. That was very convenient. Not a deal breaker but it was nice to have all 3 available to choose from. I know we still have all three but if we want a particular one we will have to choose that type of dining. We are usually one to dine at a different time every night and not be traditional. c’est la vie.
  7. Because of CC, I booked it for June sail away from St Kitts. It could be rather warm in early June but I think it will be a lovely romantic evening. Thanks for the pictures.
  8. you can link the bookings and only one reservation is needed.
  9. For someone that makes and uses spreadsheets all day, I am feeling a little vacation lazy. I just looked at the included list with the plus and premier and the cost, decided premier for us and booked it with our cruise. It’s like ordering a salad. Yes, I could make it myself cheaper, but it just tastes so much better when someone else does all the work. And I never regret ordering it.
  10. If you have not tried Whispering Angel Rose, it is a great summer, light, crisp lunchtime or light dinner wine. And I am more a Nicolas Feuillatte champagne fan than Vueve, but I have only seen that by the bottle on the menus. Please report back which ones you tried and what you thought.
  11. I just checked our documents and we bought premier for 80 x 10 and it was 800. Not sure where your extra amount came from. Checking earlier quotes from our TA and the quote for plus was exactly 200. cheaper. All pp of course.
  12. We use to travel with our good friends every year until they started adding up everything they purchased and/or paid for. I am in finance and deal with numbers all day. I do not want to think about or hear numbers on vacation. As close to all-inclusive cruises or vacations as we can make it is the only way we travel now. We do not travel with them anymore. The last river cruise trip sealed it when most of the trip was included, he made comments on every excursion about tipping the guide.
  13. We need to add 2 additional adults to our cabana rental on Princess Cay. It is the next day stop. I saw from an old Platters that the desk opens at 1pm on embarkation day. How crazy will the line be at 1? We usually have all our excursions planned well ahead so never had to stop by the desk in the past. Is this something I could use chat on the app?
  14. We will be on the Emerald in June and I heard putting clips on the bottom of the shower curtain helps it from clinging to you. Is that correct information?
  15. On Celebrity they had crew at the buffet stations. The biggest issue I had was at the salad station. Nothing harder than trying to explain how and what you want on your salad. That station was always backed up and I usually just went for the Caesar so I didn’t have to go through the hand motions. Salads are a very personal item.
  16. That is awesome they are offered in the evening as well. This looks like a great schedule of a variety of levels and classes. Thank you for sharing.
  17. We enjoy the towns at night. We usually cruise 10-14 days as we are still working and taking more than 2 weeks off can be a return to work nightmare. Maybe one day we will change how we travel, right now it works for us. Back to the OP, I think it matters what you want to spend the extra money on. Very personal preference.
  18. We are not breakfast people so we grab a coffee and something little to hold us over until a late lunch. IC is going to be perfect for us. We always have a big lunch off the ship in port. A small late dinner in the MDR if we leave earlier or grab a dinner in port if not. We mainly use the ship as a floating hotel. Which is why we fell in love with river cruising. Docking right in the middle of old town in many cities was perfect for exploring the area restaurants and pubs. This is just how we have enjoyed traveling since empty nesting.
  19. It seems like the main difference is the dining experience. We tend to eat many meals outside the ship so we did not opt for the reserve but some in our family did. It will be interesting to see the difference first hand. My cruise is very port heavy which could make a difference.
  20. If they are going to make new rules and strictly enforcing them, then how about enforcing the old rules, such as chair hogs, and dress codes.
  21. @Titanfan22 please report back as I have the premier and plan to take many of the classes offered. I would love to know the class size, how soon you signed up and what was offered. I go early June.
