Been there, done that---twice (out of Southampton)---and missed St. Pete both times (weather and war). Again, the PRIMARY DRAW is St. Pete. Go back and review the threads from 2022 when it was dropped. Almost all express it as the main reason for booking that itinerary.
We were in an SV on Apex Deck 7 and it was never an issue, so I doubt 6 would be affected (especially since any music is down on 5 and further aft). And no, there was no secret entrance to Eden from Deck 6.
How so? The article @smokeybandit cites (https://ewnews.com/cruise-passenger-tax-increases-pushed-back-to-january-2024) says the amounts are increases . Going from the existing $18 to $23 (or $25) plus a couple of extra fees ($7)---so a max of $14.
We did it (maybe on Silly last year?) and it was pretty good. That said, I didn't consider it that much better than the excellent Indian choices that always seem to be available in OVC.
No, they're pretty much all the same---maybe 25% coverage. You do realize that biggest factor for exposure is a combination of time of day and direction of travel?
ALL the transats are clearly listed on the websites---not sure what additional help an email response would be. I see 2 X and 2 RCCL available from Rome---4 of the 11 transats. 5 from BCN, 2 from Southampton. Considering most these ships had basically been homeporting from these regions all summer, what would you propose?
