  1. Hearing Brittany from Canada is just starting a contract.
  2. I'm not sure I'd even concern myself with the stated departure time. The all aboard time? That's the important one.
  3. Thanks for allowing me to clarify---No, I haven't. Does that negate my observations concerning the topic?
  4. Save slightly longer journeys to embark/debark, changing to Rotterdam should not affect that "key part" in the slightest.
  5. When MC is on 14, you'll be just as likely to hear the passengers on the pool deck as those on the MC. And, if you'll look at the photo @Host Anne posted and compare it to the deck plan, it's pretty clear the MC will pass forward of your cabin. I'm curious why it would even matter if it goes past your cabin?
  6. HORRID!!! I mean they're SO FAR APART! (Huh? Closer than London & Southampton? The same as Rome & Civitavecchia? Train goes directly to Schiphol? Oh.) (in my best Roseanna Roseannadanna voice) "Never mind."
  7. Sure---with altered itineraries! Even with evidence of WHY this is occurring, you still call BS?
  8. Thanks @Jim_Iain for providing additional facts vs. unsubstantiated suspicions that this adjustment is not an arbitrary decision by X.
  9. Of course you're not---considering they "failed to consider this annual rite of passage in their planning" when the new procedures were only announced barely 5 months ago. 5 months is not "annual". You have every right to be disappointed. But elevate it to a conspiracy theory?
  10. OMG!!! A thoughful and calculated assessment of the situation rather than a me-me-me reaction.
  11. Without ANY research on your own part? Fascinating!
  12. Fill us in on your source that substantiates west coast whale migration 200 years ago. By the way, MINIMAL research show new recommended procedures were adopted last September. MINIMAL! https://whalesafe.com/announcing-the-expansion-of-whale-safe-to-san-francisco/
  13. It's been a hot topic on theis board the past few weeks.
  14. In 2023??? That seems to be when this all started.
  15. I'm not sure it's as absolute as implied, these are general guidelines. It's disingenuous to think FBC could snap their fingers and instantly resolve all adjustments necessitated by airline schedule changes. There are probably many issues involved (financial, logistical, etc.).
  16. If available, they'll be in your eDocs. If not there, not worth worrying about. Easier to add at the pier.
  17. That can't be true! This thread has well established it's Celebrity's mishandling of, well, SOMETHING! (tongue firmly planted in cheek)
  18. Why is it FBC's fault if the airline made a change?
