  1. For some types of travel to other countries, a 6 month remainder may be required. Carnival "recommends" 6 months, (not requires) should something happen and you need to remain in another country.
  2. If a passport was required for any port stop, you would be denied boarding if you didn't have one.
  3. By asking them to accept a S&S for payment that is not yours is asking them to risk their job.
  4. I think the way the menu is posted that gives the impression Emeril's isn't on CHEERS.
  5. For those parents, I press the elevator buttons for everyone before Precious gets a chance and then get off first stop after the meltdown starts.
  6. Emeril's is also underused for coffee under CHEERS.
  7. Exactly...Security needs to round up kids running wild, take them to Guest Services and page their parents to come get.
  8. I would disagree. I would guess more than a quarter especially with Platinum or Diamond level couples bringing along newbies couples or families. They could easily stop this.
  9. You will want an accessible stateroom. The bathrooms on the MG are very small and anyone with mobility challenges will find it difficult to manage.
  10. I don't see a difference in number of kids no matter what months I sail, same as going to Disney...August...October..February...May no noticeable lessening of kids
  11. That count is misleading due to the status sharing..Splitting up Diamond/Platinum guests into rooms with Blue/Red/Gold with the intent to move around once onboard. That can double the numbers.
  12. I have seen kids on the water slides while cruising the Alaskan fjords
  13. Which includes infants and kids...Cruise line profits come from onboard spend not cruise fare.
  14. Yes, the infamous "I only spend" lie. Can't even count the number of people I have watched feed $100 after $100 into a machine and then tell the spouse ""Still on my $40". A woman sat next to me and furiously fed a couple hundred into the machine without her S&S in the machine and wanted to know how to cash out. Told her she needed to put her card in but she said she didn't want to. I was "Why"? She said she didn't want "them" to find out so she spun until it was zero.
  15. The Emeril's seating area on Celebration was so much better than the Mardi Gras area and the beignets are divine...
  16. My Global Entry also renewed in just a couple of days. Didn't get picked for a personal interview.
  17. Nongambling people would lose their minds when gamblers spending $20K a cruise lapped them in status.
  18. After Delta butchered their loyalty program with the excuses of "too many" after two years of carrying status over without re-earning, they were hit hard with an exit of elite flyers so hopefully Carnival was paying attention. Delta could have at least waited until this year since those who just carryovered, would have needed to earn their spot this year. I have no issues with requiring at least one cruise in a period of time to maintain status, or even status doesn't begin until you are 18 or maybe, they actually give the status perks only to the guest who earned it so the games with moving people around stop.
  19. Correct, he has mentioned it enough now for it to be fact.
  20. The Dania Pointe location? Great hotel
  21. That should be a red flag. Every independent tour operator I have used, followed ship time
  22. Doesn't hurt and since they are going you a solid, you really should and OP specifically said their spouse was in the room. You think "rapport" isn't dependent on level of generosity?
  23. Independent tour operators should know very well what time the ship uses.
  24. Go now to a time site like time.gov and check now to see if there is a time difference.
  25. Bartenders don't need to fill two drink orders without the second person present.
