I was booked on the cancelled Panama Canal In sept 2024. Now on Explorer 2 a month after the inaugural cruise . Worried ? Absolutely!!!!!!

You don’t book shows . Don’t leave booking excursions and speciality dining till on board as lots will sold out . Your cabin is the classed as being in a ‘better location’ but that’s about the only benefit apart from lunch on the first day .

The only hotel really in the airport terminal is the Sofitel in Terminal 5 . Most of the others are on the perimeter road and will need transport

If you stay at or near the Thistle you can get the driverless pod . If not there will be plenty of Ubers around , plus the airport bus

This happened to us in Beyond in February with drinks over the premium limit . Seems a regular occurance

Have not seen this level of service post covid for standard sky suites

The whole point of Le Petit Chef is that you eat what the animation is presenting . I think You lose half the enjoyment if it’s different

@ashleyrileyNo you won’t be escorted anywhere ! On evening Chic nights there is a limited amount of reserved seating for suite guests and if not busy with other guests your butler will be there to greet you. There is no separate Retreat line to get back in the ship . We were not given snacks but our friends were - so I think it totally depends on the butler . You would need to discuss any dietary needs with the maitre d as they will obviously need to know if any allergies etc and work with you to ensure they are met. They have the daily changing menu plus the everyday ‘basic’ menu Apart from the very high end suites all rooms are in ‘general population’

You just get drinks from a limited menus between 5-7. So no use if you already have a drinks package . Can’t use it in MDR

It’s just location - cabins are identical

If you are going anywhere warm take a small blow up pool as they they won’t be allowed in the swimming pools

It’s only a short hope to Rome or Venice - give economy a go 😉

Aaaah - I’ve only just sorted my cancelled Explorer 2 cruise 😞 I can still see them though

I’m gutted for you and all the others on the cancelled some of whom may actually have started their holidays already I’m sure once you find an alternative cruise Explorer will work with you to adjust the price (I know that it can be done )

You definitely need more than 30% credit as prices have gone up so much . Feel for you all

If it’s AI then no you can’t without repricing at current rates to cruise only . You can’t change on board
