Testing can't last forever when other vacations are NOT testing ,as there will be no cruise industry left once the word gets out that cruising is the only place you have to test ... It has to fall away when everyone has caught it ....and they will ? And testing has not proved to play it's part on board as there are outbreaks now ?

Maybe you caught it at the airport ....on the plane ....anywhere, but C did not show up until now ... I bet the test was before you flew in ? and so many infections means the test to get on board is pointless ....or was it from the last ports you visited ...again pointless testing ...

As I said life is a risk ....then don't cruise if you cannot take that risk ... it's mutated that many times it's a more of a cold now, I've had it ... Do you all want hide away for that ? If you do say goodbye to cruising its going to be a while ...as they have no way of stopping a cold even now ?

I don't know if they are part of the cdc program but it's the same company ,cruise line so I would assume that they would be under them ...I have not looked at the cdc dashboard either is P&O listed ? Princess is quoting European Union Healthy Gateway Guidelines EUHG which if P&O are following those and they sail Europe and everywhere that Princess does so surely they have to follow the countries rules they visit and they embark at the same port of Southampton then they are the same rules so I cannot see why they are under different rules ...yet Princess is supervised testing and P&O are NOT supervised ?

Princess UK want $60 for port testing or supervised £30 in home P&O Cruises ( carnival brand under same umbrella out of the same port) want testing done unsupervised £11 So much inconsistent testing ?

It's not as serious anymore ....life is a risk ...no more cruise booked for us with this overreaction of rules Ive had it a mild cold so no more money off me ? Even the cdc thinks it's not serious if you don't need a test to fly in .... And what about the hepa filters which are the same as planes supposed to be installed by cruise lines ...same system but not ok for cruise lines ....I always caught a cold on a plane ...? Well just another nail in the pine box for cruising with these continuing never-ending rules ...

The Patter was placed on the bed even with no turn down ....no chocs anymore. our chocs were for emergency use while travelling back ....you get hungry with no buffet available 😋

I agree, don't think there was any rule from the cdc but after a long travel day I wasn't going to disagree with the steward that TOLD us this rule,.....as I turned out we prefer this for OUR routine. it turns out after 12 days ..he wasn't the best steward and didn't receive an "extra" tip at the end ... we discussed this ourselves before leaving and realised he used this excuse as a get out ...he also had a helper that did most of the work even most cabins were empty ...

On sky Princess I was in no uncertain terms TOLD 1 turn down because of cdc rules ( i didnt care it's fine )? On Enchanted was asked if I wanted both turn down we declined but the steward said let me know on outside screen if we changed our minds ....

Thanks for this , I was about to book this and board around a month away ... I wont be doing that now....so much consistency through the fleet NOT ! So sick of these rules especially when other Princess ships from Southampton are quite relaxed about things.

Yes all seats available except the ones we were sitting in last week ....Enchanted. And Sky 4 weeks before that ...

I would just go there as first thing to do when boarding.....deck 7 mid aft. Happy anniversary

Just off Enchanted it was moved to Take 5 ...it was quite nice and not full even though Elite was 213 platinum 388 not many turned up so wasn't so empty feel in the Vista , Lounge opened at 4.30 with staff at the door ... A4 sheet of paper with c c party and times and Elite lounge times in cabin on arrival...

Just off Enchanted princess and Matt Barnard ( in picture bottom right above this post by dides) did shout outs and trivia via the app that he picked up from ....some how in the office and read them out ...gave spa prizes and champagne ...jokes and was quite funny ....a bit like the old days ...I would definitely be happy if he was CD on any ships I was on in future. I always try to like the wake show but sometimes it ain't good ..but Matts Wake shows were worth watching..

Yes it gets full marks from us ...also seen on Sky & Enchanted 😍
