Hi
Myself and 2 friends sail on the Edge 6th May in a Sky Suite. Are we able to eat in Blu? I thought this was reserved exclusively for Aqua Class customers?
Thank you,
Denise
If you are in a Suite, then you can ask if they have space available.

A suite in land-based hotels typically have a separate living room from the bedroom.
A two bedroom suite has a living room and two bedrooms. Some have kitchens or kitchenettes.
A hotel Junior suite is typically larger than a standard guest room.
I agree that Celebrity is taking a bit of poetic license with their terminology for a Sky Suite. The room itself is more like a land based Junior Suite.
What makes a sky suite sweet are the perks, the inclusion in the Retreat and access to Luminae. You're paying for that and the additional square footage a larger room, balcony and bathroom occupy on the ship.
If you want a real suite experience you'll have to pay a lot more for the cabins with separate bedrooms from living rooms.
You are correct I guess if you want to define a suite by the amount of actual cabin space you get. I am referring to the Butler, the perks and the amenities that you don't get in a junior suite on Royal.

The first time I ever sailed in a "suite" was on NCL Sun, the penthouse suite for 14 days, forward facing, loved it. But IMO, having sailed in a EDGE SS, there is really no comparison, I got hooked and to me it def is a suite, nothing junior about it. Only nod compare to the NCL PH, was the balcony, we love forward facing, but will take SS any time of the day.
Me too. There is no comparison to a junior suite. Been in both and there’s a very big difference. The SS is a real suite!

I beg to differ.
Okay, well that is your opinion, and you are entitled to it. Happy Sailing!

I don't understand the point your trying to make. Real suites have separate rooms. A Sky suite is just a larger room, which is what most cruiselines call a junior suite. Same thing as Celebrity calling a balcony room a veranda. I was making a distinction between Celebrity and Royal which was appropo to the original question.
The point I was trying to make is that Sky Suites on Celebrity Cruiseline are not "junior suites"

It's a fair question. Sky Suites in most other cruiselines would be considered a junior suite and may be treated differently. Royal, for example, doesn't grant full suite amenities to their junior suites. It's great that Celebrity does treat their junior suites as the same.
If they were "junior suites" they would be called Junior Suites. Yes the parent company is Royal Caribbean International. They are Sky Suites, on a totally different cruiseline.

Yes, as it is a suite.

Got E Docs today - exactly 30 days from sailing on the EDGE.

It takes a day or two before your vaccinations record is accepted. You still have to bring it with you and probably some of the ports - check to be sure. I wouldn't recommend laminating them - Amazon & Walmart have pouches that fit them perfectly.

Some people don't need 3 bedrooms and a grand piano and would rather spend their money on experiences.
Also, 83% of the suites are "entry-level" sky suites.
-
May not be inclusive, but here is what I gathered so far:
- Express pass on phone/app or print them out
- Passport or Passport card
- Covid vaccination documents
- Negative COVD test result (within 2 days of sailing).
- Answer the health questionnaire on your app the day before you cruise.
-
You will have a butler - gratuities/tips are included, but you can always give more.
For Specialty Restaurants - you will already be in Luminae.

On most occasions the security employees are looking to see either your passport or drivers license that shows photo identification. I can’t remember the last time that they actually wanted to see your boarding pass.
Thanks Corby! We haven't sailed since 2019.

It's within two days of sailing, not 48 hours. There is a difference.
OH? Thank you so much for pointing that out!

I find it easier to have the express pass printed out than using the phone app. If EVERYTHING was able to be done through the app and/or mobile phone I could see not having a paper pass (Although it's still easier for people just to look at a piece of paper) but since you still need other paper documents I have in one hand the paper Boarding pass stapled to the printed covid test results and then the other hand my passport with the vaccine card inside.
Great idea - Thanks. I don't like fumbling around with my phone in addition to everything else.

I just want to be sure we have everything we need to board the ship:
- Express pass on phone/app
- Passport card
- Covid vaccination documents
- Negative COVD test result within 48 hours
Am I missing anything?
THANKS

Marriott, JW Marriott, Embassy Suites, Westin on Harbour Island - all within walking distance. Sheraton, Hilton - both downtown.

So the Port Everglades website states to "Keep identification/cruise documents handy".
Since we get the Boarding Pass on the app, do we have to print something out to show the main gate security, or will they accept the Boarding Pass on the app/phone?

You could try calling them to arrange for a wheelchair:

I think that is way too much. We have been on many cruises. You will have 6 hours in port total. IMO that is too much to do in the allotted time. Pick one or two and have fun. This list looks exhausting.
