  1. We are not going to Antarctica on this voyage. We did that on the Star Princess in 2011, amazing trip! Btw, we are heading towards the Horn and the ship is a-rockin!
  2. We came back to our cabin tonight and found the below little guy on our bed. I'm starting to have issues uploading videos. I'll try uploading video of King penguin colony again.
  3. Today we were in Port Stanley, Falkland Islands. We were originally scheduled for this cruise in 2021 and had booked an excursion to Volunteer Point thru Patrick Watts to see the penguins. We all know what happened to those cruises. We stayed in contact with Patrick and rescheduled for this cruise. We are sure glad we did! Today we had one of the best wildlife excursions we have ever had! I would highly recommend this excursion, and for those that are coming here in late 2023 and in 2024 the time to book is now as there are very limited numbers that can do this excursion. Patrick has retired and one of his long-time guides, Shaun Jaffray, has taken over. Shaun was our guide today and he was FANTASTIC! You can find all the information regarding this excursion on Shaun's website, AdventureFalklands.com We had a great day! 🐧🐧🐧 20230311_115457.mp4
  4. So sorry you were not happy with your time on the Regal. We were onboard this past Oct/Nov/Dec for 37 days in the Med and TA and had a fantastic cruise.
  5. Yes, same place. IMHO Gigi's not a great name for an Italian venue, sounds French to me. 🤔
  6. I'll have to look around as I have not seen them anywhere? Maybe the ice cream venue by the pool? We did get some ice cream the other day but did not notice any other items being offered. Btw, the soft serve machines were not working and they were scooping vanilla, chocolate and strawberry ice cream.
  7. And I don't think the folks on this ship will know what the inventory is like on the other ships.
  8. Today we attended the MTG Luncheon. The food and service were amazing! Sorry, I was too busy talking to the Guest Services Director (he was seated next to me) and missed a photo of the appetizer. The desert was delicious, one of the best we have had! I need to correct my previous post re: how many passengers are staying on for the next voyage. The GS Director advised that 1,000 passengers will be disembarking in Chile and approx the same number will be embarking for the voyage to Los Angeles.
  9. We frequently ask for a large ceasar salad with grilled salmon or grilled shrimp on top for our main entree. Every once in awhile we will order the Fettuccine Alfredo with grilled salmon or shrimp. We are pescatarians and love our grilled salmon/shrimp!
  10. Per our room steward, these are the only Elite amenities they currently have in stock. Your room steward should be able to replenish if you are Elite or in a suite.
  11. We are in a mini-suite. We do not use them as we bring our own products. You can have ours! 🙂
  12. The below tiny bottles are the only extras we received in our bathroom. Not sure if they were Elite amenities or not? Where did he post photo?
  13. We saw our first penguins today swimming right off the pier while we were walking back to the ship! We also saw one walking down the street! And my purchase of the day, three really nice Malbec's (total of $40 USD)!
  14. A few more photos from deck 15 and the Sanctuary. It is currently 70 degrees at 10:40 am. It should be a nice day. Going into town now.
  15. We have arrived in Puerto Madryn (Argentina) part of the Region of Patagonia. Patagonia is shared by Argentina and Chile. The view from our balcony.
  16. No, they have all the white and sparkling wines in a tub filled with ice.
  17. I was told by our favorite bartender that they have not had Crown Royal onboard for quite some time. They are hoping for a big resupply when they reach LA.
