  1. Per the Events & Loyalty Manager, the cut-off for the MTG luncheon for this voyage is 581 sea days.
  2. We have been "collecting" wine since the mid 80's. We are actively reducing our cellar by selling lots and gifting wine to our family and friends. Our goal is to be at 750 bottles over the next few years. We have stopped buying retail and cancelled most of our wine clubs. We never intended to collect wine as an investment tool but it has provided some unexpected dividends.
  3. Your assumption would be correct! 🙂
  4. We have yet to incur a corkage fee on this cruise. It is up to the individual server to charge for corkage and as @Steelers36 stated, be prepared for the charge. It is nice when they "forget" it. 😉 We definitely make up for it at the end of the cruise with a nice gratuity.
  5. Today in Livorno, it was mostly a sunny day in the high 60's. We planned to take our travel companions to Pisa for their first time. We were going to take the ship shuttle to town and then the city bus to the train station. When we exited the ship shuttle in town, there was a company selling bus transportation to Pisa for 15 euros per person round-trip. This was a no brainer! The bus left at 10 am and arrived in Pisa 40 minutes later. We had to be back to the bus at 1:15 pm. That was more than enough time to see Pisa. The same company was selling bus transfers to Florence for 30 euros per person round-trip.
  6. We have been bringing on 2 to 3 bottles per port, no questions asked.
  7. We are currently on the Regal and very much into wine. At home, we maintain 2,500 bottles in our cellar. We have the Plus pkg and have been very happy with the wines being offered at Vines within our pkg. The dining room is a different story. They have been offering the wine only by the varietal. We have countered this by bringing our own bottle of wine to the MDR. Being in Europe, it has been very easy to purchase wine in the ports we are visiting and bringing them back onboard. No one has questioned the wines as we return to the ship. This is not always the case on every ship. We have sailed on ships where they have been very strict regarding collecting corkage fees as you return to the ship. We happily pay the corkage to enjoy good wines at dinner. I hope this helps.
  8. @Marshyone It was great meeting you tonight! It is amazing how small of a world we live in and our similarities even when we live on two different coasts!
  9. It was a beautiful, sunny day in Toulon today. We took the water shuttle into town, shopped and had lunch. Where else but in Provence would you find a 50 ft long wall of Rose at the supermarket? Wonderful!!! 🍷
  10. Passenger numbers for the current voyage: Blue 684 Gold 490 Ruby 276 Platinum 618 Elite 624 Total = 2,692
  11. It was a Carnival Corp press release from this morning.
  12. We have not had anyone question the wine that we have been bringing back from the ports.
  13. The counter in our cabin looks like a mini Total Wines! We have been buying off the ship and bringing our own bottles to the MDR. 🍷🍷🍷

"There's nothing sweeter knowing that with our exclusive OceanNow anywhere/anytime delivery our guests will never have to wait in line for their favorite SMiZE Cream flavors."
  16. The DW was not a happy camper today 😬. Barcelona on a Sunday is not fun for a serious shopper, all major stores/shops are closed. We came back to the cabin to another great meal invitation. I am going up my fitness center time!
  17. Here's a photo I took a few days ago of the rear of the ship. You can clearly see where they added the extra cabins.
  18. In Toulon, we booked a private tour to Marseille and Cassis. It was windy in both locations, but sunny. We had a fantastic time! The first 5 photos are from the Basilique Notre Dame de la Garde, it overlooks all of Marseille. Photo #6 in old city of Marseille. The 7th photo is of Cassis from a cliff above the small village. The last 2 photos are of the marina in Cassis.
  19. Per the Loyalty/Events Manager, there are 422 passengers staying on for the next voyage. We are currently docked in Toulon.
  20. Ask Guest Services via the Crew Chat or ask the Loyalty/Event Manager.
  21. Currently, the passenger count for the voyage that begins tomorrow is 2,660.
  22. We found it to be fairly easy. We are used to doing lots of walking at home. Happy Birthday! 🎂
  23. We have not seen any restrictions bringing food or alcohol back to the ship.
