Isn't it your private tour?  You should be able to tell the tour guide what you want to do.

Yes, our little group doing this private tour has specific things we want to see.  Lunch was on our original plan, but do to time constraints, travel miles, and not wanting to eliminate any stops, we told our guide we might can get a box lunch from the ship.  She thought that was a great idea.  The stop is Jeju Island, South Korea.

  2. We have a private tour planned for one of our stops, and the tour guide said with our intense itinerary, there will not be time for lunch.  I was wondering if anyone has had experience with Celebrity making a boxed lunch to take on a tour?  I know we can ask once we are on board, but I'm curious if anyone has done this?   Also if it helps, we are in the Retreat, so I'm hoping maybe our butler, or Luminae might help.  Thanks.

  3. We love the Reflection also.  Only sailed on her one time but it was enjoyable........it was late during  Covid, as I remember having to get Covid tests, and we wore our masks all the time!  But we had a very good time, very relaxing.  We love Giuseppe!  He was on an Apex cruise we took last year.  I thought he was great!  Thanks for the review!

  4. What specifications does everyone put on their laundry card?  I had a bad experience back in 2018 with Celebrity laundry (shrinkage and very wrinkled), so I am hesitate to try again.  We have a longer cruise coming up later this year, and might need these services.  Would saying "cold water" and "pressing" work?

  5. We cruised out of this port back in 2018.  Our driver from Rome drove close to 100 miles per hour and I was scared to death.  He didn't speak English, so telling him to slow down was unsuccessful.  We got to the port in record time!  Our bags were given to the porters by 9AM.  We were in a suite, so they called us to board about 9:30 AM.  We were the FIRST people onboard!  We didn't plan for this, it just happened this way.

  6. A Celebrity cruise was my first experience with Europe.  We spent a few days in Rome and Barcelona on each end of the cruise.  I wish we would have spent more time in Rome actually.  I had reserved a few tours in Rome and Barcelona, just to make sure we saw all the highlights.  The other cruise ports we were on our own, but enjoyed walking around, shopping, eating/drinking, taking pictures.  However we did take a "ship's" excursion of Cinque Terre.  We were on a bus, boat and train.....and it was a long day!

  7. Never have eaten at Raw5, but have eaten at Fine Cut.  It was fine, above average.  We get plenty of good steaks in Texas.......and Fine Cut was nothing special IMO.  And I thought the service was rather slow.  We will continue to eat at Eden as it is our favorite.

  8. We sailed the Baltic Sea last May/June and thoroughly enjoyed it.  I was afraid it was going to be really cold, but it was very nice.  This year we are cruising around Japan, so I will report on that when we get back.  I have looked at the South America cruises and debated on them for a couple of years.
