It’s either or… I’m on my way (ie you still want the table and will arrive within fifteen minutes ) or leave queue ( I don’t want the table) maybe you are overthinking it im sure once you try it you will be fine 🤞🏻

Thanks all for you comments and advice . We have now opted for flights the day before with Lufthansa Manchester to Venice via Frankfurt (not my favourite airline) but timings are better . We will stay overnight at an airport hotel (at our cost obvs ) and make the usual transfer from there to the port the next day. A good solution all in all

Flights were included in our fare for the cruise our TA has come back with alternative outward flight requiring overnight accommodation which seems to be costing almost 15% of the total cruise cost 😒

Hi We are flying from Manchester to Venice and we have flights booked via Seabourn .. our travel agent has flagged that the layover (1.5 hours) at Paris Charles de Gaulle is a bit tight to connect with our onward flight as changing terminal takes 30-40 minutes. What would happen if we missed that connecting flight to Venice due to flight delay… would the ship wait?

The airline have changed our flight departure time to one before the ship even docks…so we won’t be travelling on that flight..which I think is why the seabourn app says flight info not available due to schedule change. Our flights are booked via seabourn so they are our point of contact really not the airline

We have had the same thing happen to our business class flights from Venice …some weeks ago…had airline email notification of change but seabourn app still says “flight information being updated due to schedule change”

Hi We are also 1st Seabourn . Just looking at the observation list..there appears to be only 4 white and 4 red wines that are complimentary….it that the complete choice or will there be more offered ? we like a New Zealand Sauvignon blanc…is it likely we would have to pay extra for that?

I just log in to my HL account and send them an email (there’s a link on the right of the page)with details of cruise number booking ref and date of travel and ask them to request the benefit for me…usually works just fine

To be honest we always flew PE until our last two Caribbean cruises Nov 2021 & March 2022 when we tried economy (No space left in PE) we ordered gin and tonics (2each) before meal , got wine with our meal and another round of drinks after before falling asleep) 😂 each time their own but now think we will fly economy and save the £700/800 for spending elsewhere

You get free drinks wine & spirits in economy too

To be honest most of the formal wear worn by men looks the same to be … not sure I’d know the difference if they spent £2000 or £50… but wouldn’t make me feel inferior. Wear what you feel comfortable in . Formal nights still existed on our Caribbean cruises in November and March but there were no photographers, so they weren’t making profit from formal nights then. Each to there own.. if you don’t like the cruise line offerering you have other companies to choose from

This got me thinking about whether to pay in full I don’t know what escrow is, but here in UK our payments are covered by ATOL.ORG.UK even if they stopped trading as they are part of carnival who hold the atol licence

Is it just us or is anyone else having tv issues? Our tv takes over twenty minutes to select a channel!! reported it twice to reception but still no resolution . They said the would send someone to reset it ! really frustrating!

So not everything is 100% perfect all of the time but little touches make a difference. Today a friend came and sat on the wooden deck surrounding the pool to talk to us . Within one minute Allison appeared with a folded towel for her to sit on. Nice touch
