  1. It’s only on the tablet. There is not an app available at this time Keith
  2. The tablet has a lot of nice features and information. It is a Lenovo tablet. It provides the ability to schedule appointments with the onboard booking/loyalty program host/hostess. 3. On the first cruise the announcement that all rooms were ready for embarking guests came at around 3:00 PM and yesterday it came around 2:30 PM. Keith

    Vintage Room

The Vintage Room program is similar to how it was. On the first cruise they offered two Vintage Room luncheons; one of the two was held as the second one didn't have enough people signing up. They will have luncheons this cruise and I believe not only champagne but possibly one on Bordeaux wines given we will be in Bordeaux. They offer Vintage Room dinners. It takes a minimum number of people in the past to hold them. For those who want to hold an exclusive vintage room dinner where you pay the one amount regardless whether one or the maximum number of people attend you can do that. The less people who attend translates to less bottles of wine/champagne consumed allowing you to enjoy even pricier wine if that is something you care about. For the exclusive one you can choose between three different menus. If there is something you don't see the sommelier can check with the executive chef. Keith
  5. I believe someone asked if Bill Miller who speaks about the history of cruise ships and cruising will be still lecturing with Crystal. I just wanted to say he is still part of the program and understand he'll be lecturing sometime soon. Keith
  6. On board embarkation. This is done on either deck or five depending on where the gangway is located. Yesterday on Deck 6. Before the casino was removed that would not be the case but with the furniture for the lounge it can be moved as it was yesterday. Keith
  7. Yes at the present time they do plus both kinds of robes. Keith
  8. 50% on many tours which is 50% of the seats but as I have said numerous times it could be 90% It just depends.
  9. It looks good and tastes great. Keith
  10. 50% but it can be higher than that and is going to range base on port. Even A/C will as in some ports the local area doesn't have A/C buses.
  11. The answer is it depends. Group tours could be half full or they could be 90% full. There will always be a Crystal Escort, a Tour Guide and a Bus Driver although on occasion the tour guide and driver are the same. If you want a guarantee on this I would not book a tour or ask when you are on board and cancel if you don't like the answer.
  12. Gratuities are a personal choice. They are not mentioned at all as they were in past years after inclusive was implemented. If you want to give a cash tip, or if you want to charge gratuities to your shipboard account or if you would like to give to the crew welfare fund you can do one or more of these. In short, there is no pressure to give a gratuity to anyone (other than automatic gratuities are added for things like spa and salon treatments) but you can if you want. This is one of these things that the only opinion that matters is your own. Keith
  13. HI folks so sorry I said iPads. I was wrong. On another site, I mentioned it, said I was wrong, corrected myself and the end of discussion.
  14. Terry this really ranged from crew working at sea, on land, or not working. Keith
  15. Roy I believe 4 is the desk, two is one of the end tables by the bed, and I am not sure but one was on the counter above the refrigerator next to the closet. Keith
  16. So I looked at all of the excursion prices for the first two voyages. I thought they were consistent with before and I expect them to be high as inflation is much higher in Europe than even the USA. I know someone was talking about New England but my guess is a lot of this has to do with the tour operators and the people they use. JMO. I look at my bills shopping for food at home. I look at what I paid for a hotel in Paris in 2017 and six years later it is almost three times the price. I really do not think it is Crystal who is the culprit here. Keith
  17. The lunch buffets are like they always were. I am just not sure if they are themed on occasion. Keth
  18. Terry ship not full which is a good thing on the initial voyages. I believe 82% of the crew on board now worked for Crystal before. Keith
  19. Every double room has been done with the exception of the ones that are for the entertainers/enrichment personnel so this goes for other decks with the verandahs.
  20. I can only assume that if they don't sell as singles they could be used as doubles. In terms of glasses you might be traveling with someone who is in another room and they come to visit. Or, maybe someone invites someone to spend the night. This would not be a first. Keith
  21. I am thinking that at some point they could sell these or use them as doubles rather than letting them go vacant. They look the same as any double room even those on other decks with the exception of no verandah. Keith
  22. I believe they do since they had them in every room for Northwest Passage but I didn't look. Keith
  23. I believe so as they put them in every room for the Northwest Passage. Keith
  24. Right now it's not an app. We used something similar on Endeavor which we enjoyed. Keith
