  1. I completely disagree. These prices are way higher than pre pandemic...
  2. No idea, but we've got 2 free rooms this year while spending virtually nothing in the casinos...
  3. I've been a member of CC for over 20 years and I can honestly say this review is the best one I've ever read on this site. Thank you so much for this amazing review. 😎
  4. Interesting title, all my reviews are lies...🤣😆😂
  5. Also, if there's another adult in the room, you'll have to purchase for them also. Even if they don't drink...
  6. Interesting...didn't know this was a thing as we found several ducks on our last cruise. One of the ducks had the owners stateroom on it and we returned it. The owner was a little girl and she was very excited to get the duck back. She asked where we found it and we told on a stairwell on deck 3. Never seen a little girl so happy to get a duck back...
  7. whahahahahahahahahaha...that's even more absurd then your last statement of lower prices...whahahahahahahahaha...
  8. Saying it can be expensive is a huge understatement. I confess, I've smuggled booze on the last 2 dozen cruises or so. On my last cruise, a $25 bottle of Jack was $95 from Carnival...that's just plain absurd...
  9. Don't get a suite as we can't/won't cruise without a suite anymore...
  10. Yes, this is an email from Carnival. I followed the link from the email and booked the room. Really looking forward to this cruise as it's more fun when it's free. 🙂
  11. Radiance July 25 - 110% Capacity Long lines for virtually everything...
  12. Yes, but you must make reservation.
  13. lol, the upsell person is here 🤣
  14. I used 2 of the 32oz plastic flasks on a few occasions. X-ray won't even pick them up.
  15. We do it because it's easier to smuggle booze on board. Security has longer to look at checked luggage. For carry on, security has a few seconds to scan to keep the line moving. Much easier to get booze on board. 😀
  16. I was upgraded to an Ocean Suite from an 8D balcony on my last cruise. Cost was $350.
  17. Yes, there's still a shortage and the buffet was only serving bacon every other day. Bacon is my daughter's favorite breakfast item and during the off days, we would go to the MDR for breakfast.
  18. To be honest, we don't really gamble all that much. Not sure what algorithms Carnival use to offer free rooms, but we used to get a free room every other year or so. This happens to be the first time we got two offers in one year.
  19. This is the second one this year: We took an earlier one back in February. This is the first time we got two free room offers in one year. 😀
  20. Pizza was available till 3am on the Radiance. Seems more than reasonable.
  21. Just got off the Radiance last Friday. A couple observations: Wasn't too happy that the BBQ place was only open for 2 hours on Embarkation day and the last sea day. Both days had very long lines. Long lines during sea days for Shaq, Guy and the Cantina. Only days we were able to try them was when we were in port for Catalina and Ensenada. The process for off loading in Catalina was a nightmare. Luckily, we were in a suite and got priority boarding. I heard many complaints from people who couldn't disembark. We usually eat breakfast in the buffet and my daughter's favorite breakfast item is bacon. Bacon was only available 2 out of the days. Quick tip if you want bacon, go to the MDR. We went on the days bacon was not available in the buffet and just asked for a plate of bacon for my daughter. The steakhouse was booked solid for the entire trip. So, we ordered the steaks at the MDR for an additional $23. Was told they are the same steaks from the steak house, but $22 less. They were quite amazing. If you're an old guy like me, don't even try the obstacle course. You're gonna die and look foolish struggling through it. All in all, it was a great trip since my kids had fun. That's all that really matters...
