  1. I got lucky and bought at around $11 back in 2020. In the 6 cruises over the last few years, the stock has almost paid for itself in OBC. 😎
  2. interesting...I've been in the mdr with flip flops before. No one stopped me or said anything...
  3. On our last cruise, a lady came in with the bath robe on...no one said a thing...
  4. Exactly, people die virtually every minute. This death just happens to be on a ship that some of us have been on.
  5. lol, alcohol is a much bigger problem than any drugs.
  6. The mdr has a kids menu and you can request items to go. We ate at the buffet a few times instead of the mdr, but still called the mdr for burgers and chicken tenders to go. They put the food in the same containers as room service when we went to pick it up.
  7. lol, makes my rum running more fun. although, might rethink the gummies on our next trip...
  8. 8D balcony for 7 days for free. it was a casino offer and we paid the taxes and port fees. The fees were returned to us via OBC.
  9. interesting...wonder how the thc folks, which is legal in California, are handling this...
  10. Had 3 cruises last year, 2 free and 1 discounted. Got the credit for all 3 cruises. The discounted cruise was even upgraded from balcony to suite.
  11. Last 2 cruises was in a suite. We were informed that our suites were ready when we checked in. This was around noon on both cruises.
  12. The popcorn was free on the Radiance last July.
  13. My kids liked the fact that we were literally at the top of the ship in the spa balcony.
  14. Every cruise we've been on for the last 15 years or so have been some kind of casino offer. Usually, it's a discounted fare, but we've indulged in some "free" offers. The "free" offers were balconies during off season and they also charge taxes and port fees. They do give us OBC to offset the taxes and port fees, so technically, it's free.
  15. There seems to be no reason on how points are earned. My wife plays just $10 on slots each cruise and I play thousands. She gets the free rooms, free drinks, and OBC. While, I get nothing...
  16. Man, the whole tipping thing is always a hot topic. I leave the auto tips alone and add extra tips to those who made my trip a more pleasant experience. Usually, wait staff, bar tenders and room attendants.
  17. Nice review. We're going to be on her this June after the kids get out of school. this is the first time we'll be on her. We were supposed to be on her in 2020, but Covid shut that down.
  18. Was offered a suite for $450 and I said that was too much. Was put on hold and they came back with $350. Decided to go with the $350 even though I would of taken the $450...
  19. it looks like it starts at $60 and goes up to $140 Departure Port Starting Price Baltimore $129.95 per cabin Charleston $89.95 per cabin Galveston $89.95 per cabin Jacksonville $89.95 per cabin Los Angeles $59.95 per cabin Miami $59.95 per cabin Mobile $129.95 per cabin New Orleans $89.95 per cabin New York $89.95 per cabin Port Canaveral $59.95 per cabin San Francisco $69.95 per cabin Seattle $129.95 per cabin Tampa $89.95 per cabi
  20. We used to get it before the staggered boarding process was put in place. Then we started booking suites so we get the same perks. No need for it anymore.
  21. I really think it is very random. I spend maybe a few hundred in the casino and my wife does just $10 per cruise because she doesn't gamble. She gets much better offers than I do. We got 2 free cruises last year from her account and nothing for me.
  22. Having sailed with both lines, there's no comparison between Celebrity and Carnival. Celebrity is a much better product. Yes, you'll pay more, but you get what you pay for. The only reason we sail Carnival instead of Celebrity is because Carnival has a much better kids' programs and the Waterworks.
