Morning from St Maarten! What an outstanding night! We started in the Martini bar. While we were leaving to head over to Eden guess who we ran into. Kate is amazing! People all around her like a rock star. Taking pics and really taking interest in your conversation. Then off the Eden, what a great meal. Barbie put it over Le Voyage! I said no food porn but for those that are missing it. 🙄 Great Salmon! We actually sat at the same table we sat at last year on Apex celebrating our 45th anniversary. The staff caught into that and brought us a piece of cake. 😀 We ended up back at the Martini Bar for after dinner drinks. onto St Maarten for the day! but first the gym. 😩 Cheers!

It’s Eden tonight! Will report back on the night but looking forward to dinner… 8:30! 🙄 We use to eat late in our younger days but all good. Cheers!

Can I take a moment…., Sitting at Al Bacio and watching people, it’s great to see people enjoying life! Couples together for many years, people on walkers, scooters, wheel chairs, spouses pushing spouses, children pushing and walking with parents or grandparents. Family’s having a great time. The world is in such a changing mode but something all of us cruisers have in common, we love to cruise! life is good…… Cheers!

Alright, I’ll stop after this, but…..sitting on the Magic Carpet for the last 2 hours. 3 bartenders at the bar no one walking around asking about service. If a bottle or glass blows over they are there to pick it up but not, can I get you anything. It’s all come to me if you need something. thought it was just the Sunset Bar but no it’s at Magic Carpet too! Oh Well, life is still good! Cheers!

Morning! Fantastic evening! Dinner was very nice, service and special touches. They brought the experience! I had read on some thread that Le Voyage was not included in the specialty dinning package, it is. Since we had the 6 night package there was no charge last night. We went to the show and it was very enjoyable. The ships team did a nice job. IMG_5960.MOV I have to share this one thought, we went on deck 5 to get a seat. 90% of the seats were reserved for suite guest. Ok, I get it, we have had suites many times but….yes I am going to pull the status card, why isn’t there reserved seating for higher status people. On Royal Diamond Plus and above have reserved seating. How about Elite Plus and higher? The argument is always the person who buys the suite for the first time and then the person who has spent $$$$$ over the years. Alright off my box and back to cruising! Then it was off to the Martini Bar for evening entertainment. The house band is good! Oh and the bar tenders were great too! IMG_5968.MOV Off to the Magic Carpet today. I just read in the daily that we lost an hour last night! 🙄 By the way, made the trip to Al Bacio this morning and Kate was behind the counter! 😀 Cheers!

Where is Ernesto and DWI! Been spending the afternoon at the Sunset Bar playing cards. I won the first game. Barbie won the last ship series 6-4 so I’m off to a good start! 😂 They need help in service. 3 bartenders behind the bar with 4 people at the bar. Every seat taken on deck and there is an occasional walk by from one server. We do have the cart pusher. I also have to say the bar staff are not engaging or happy. What can I get you, done. 🙄 let’s see how the days a head work out. Cheers!

I LOVE THIS SHIP! Having sailed Apex and Edge for some reason I love this one the most. They have added some nice touches. I met an old friend this morning! Yes it was to the gym this morning. I played the first two legs now it’s time to get back to normal times. 🥲 Golf season will begin when we return and actually it’s time to settle down! My workout view. I was able to get 30 minutes in and 1.25 miles. Don’t judge, it will improve! 😂 Afterwards I walked around the ship a bit a snapped some pics.

Good Morning from the Beyond! Already made my morning trip to Al Bacio to pick up 4 Americanas. I will share a bit later the tale of the traveling tray. 🤔 Sail away was great, this ship has a different vibe! D J playing people celebrating and the weather the best so far! Princess lead the way. Mac_tlc thanks for the pics. Our friends in England got us on the cam! It was an early dinner at Roof Top Grill. I really love this place. The steak was excellent and the cookie desert the best. The view is very nice. The night turned out beautiful! We went to the show and it was a comedian Kevin Jordon. Was a police officer then went into comedy. I don’t laugh easy but he was great! I can’t wait for the adult show. Cheers!

We boarded and have gone through the check list Went down to deck 3 for specialty dining. Hit a long line. I was sitting on the side and all the sudden this guy comes up next to me and asked if I wanted specialty dinning! Bingo! No more line. Barbie making reservations! Then up to the cabin for cards to get dinged in at the Muster station. Barbie isn’t happy with the colors! 😂 Can’t load the pic so will later. 🙄 Then we went to Captains Club and Bingo new Elite Plus cards! Sitting at the Sunset Bar with a drink. More about this bar a bit later, but I really like it. Cheers!

We just came off 19 days on Equinox and it was fantastic. Make sure you go to the Sunset Bar and see Ernesto and DWI. They are outstanding. Tell them Barbie and Kevin from the last sailing says hi! Ivas in the Tuscan grill too! Cheers!

Good Morning again from Ft Lauderdale! Embarkation day on the Beyond. There are a few ships in but we will sail out of terminal 25. We docked at 29 yesterday on Equinox. Had never used that terminal before. Well we woke up as Elite Plus after leaving Equinox! Does it feel different? It’s not like when you woke up and you were 16 years old or even 21 years old. Man those were years ago! 😂 Anyway I will have to visit the Captains Club and ask them to change our status. I would like the few additional benefits, whatever they are. 🤔 I have the sheet of benefits printed just have to review them. Back to you later after boarding. Cheers!

Beyond E2 Edge Stateroom w/infinite Veranda. I know there has been a lot of discussion on liking or not liking this type of cabin, but last year on Apex we had the same type cabin and we actually liked the layout. Again, like food subjective. Suites were out being at sea for 47 days! We have sailed SS on Edge and enjoyed it. I have no issues with this type of cabin, we have sailed in one last year on Apex when we did our 48 day sail. I actually like the infinity balcony. Cheers!
