Specility Dining Package - Best way to book onboard
countess5 replied to Nashna's topic in Celebrity Cruises
It’s not Guest Services that helps you, They have a dedicated table set up with staff that is there to make reservations for specialty dining. It just happens to be outside of Guest Services. When on S class ships we go to Murano and make all of our reservations. -
Specility Dining Package - Best way to book onboard

Last year when we were on APEX down by guest relations there was a table set up for making specialty reservations. Just go down to I believe deck 3 ( Guest Services ) and there should be someone there to help you. Cheers! -

Go E A G L E S! 😂 🦅 Cheers! -
Held in the late afternoon when we played. They play two rounds and last about an hour to an hour and a half if I recall. Need to get there early to buy cards if you don’t pre-purchase. The line is long. Great time. We won $250 last time we played! Cheers!

LIVE Tag Along with SteelCityCruiser 1/7/23

We enjoyed the outside seating at the Lounge. There were so many D and D+ people on our cruise, in the late afternoon they closed the sky lounge and we spilled out there. They had food set up during the cocktail hour. Many non D and D+ people weren’t happy. 😬 Received our first crystal block on Explorer! Cheers! -
Following along, love Silhouette! Spent 14 days on her last winter. This will help get us to January 29th when we fly down to Ft Lauderdale for our 3 ship B2B side by side 47 day winter cruise! I vote for option 2 as a way to report live on both ships. Never sailed MSC so interested in the comparison. Safe Sails Cheers!

Sorry to ask again, but can you share the nights that are chic nights? Thank you Cheers!

Looking forward to your post. We will be boarding Beyond on 2/19 for a B2B which is the second ship boarding we will have in our 49 day sailings on three ships. Starting with Equinox for 19 days then Beyond for 14 and onto Reflection for 14 days. We have sailed Edge and Apex before and I will say you will enjoy Beyond! We too are RCCL cruisers and Diamond Plus, but enjoy Celebrity also. Two different type of experiences. More laid back on Celebrity, but make sure you enjoy the Sunset Bar! Would like your thoughts on Embassy Suites. We have stayed there before a while back but staying again this time around. Happy Anniversary and enjoy your time on board! Cheers!

Thanks for posting! We will joining the ship on January 30th for a B2B. You had shared the following: Tomorrow is chic night — our second sea day on this 10-nightjourney. So far the pace has been nice, allowing us to unwind and snooze before we hit 5 islands in a row. Stay tuned! Your on a 10 night so was the Chic night the 2nd or third night?? When will be your second chic night. Would help with planning, DW likes to make reservations once on board with Specialty Dining. Thanks again, look forward to the rest of your post! Cheers!

Would anyone that sailed on this cruise be able to share what nights were chic nights? We have the specialty dining package and will be making nightly reservations when we board. DW likes to plan a head. Thank you Cheers!

How do you handle very long cruises on Celebrity?
countess5 replied to phoenix_dream's topic in Celebrity Cruises
I think it has been said well here by all. Everyone approaches longer cruises differently. We are in the camp that it’s a way of life and not a vacation. Last winter we sailed 49 days in the Caribbean. Visited a couple of ports twice but really never got off the ships due to Covid. Each week we were tested and if positive the sailings were over. We approach it by sailing on 3 different ships. That changes shows and experiences. This year we have 3 B2B cruises. First on Equinox 21 days then move over to Beyond for 14 days and then conclude with Reflection for 14 days. It’s a way of life for getting out of winter. Another way to enjoy is to have friends join you along the way. Last year our friends from England joined us for 21 days. This year other friends are joining us for the first 10 days. This year thinking about doing a live from, but that is a commitment! @Jim_Iain you inspire me! I know I enjoyed winter mornings reading and living through live reviews when I worked. Retirement is Fantastic! Cheers!
